They then try to justify it to themselves by trying to make everyone else to make the same financial mistake that they did. I often snigger to myself when someone tells me that they have bought one!😂
Meanwhile, their biggest financial mistake is also pushed on to consumers and taxpayers who can't afford any new car, through compliance credits, carbon credits, tax credits, and government mandates.

The reason why people drank from the saucer (people don't do it so much these days) is because the shallow depth and the surface area cooled the liquid down much faster than if it was in the cup, meaning they could drink it sooner.

Lee, don’t buy a hybrid. And plug-in hybrids are a biggest conn of them all. The additional cost of hybrids just don’t justify the any potential fuel savings. Suggest you do you homework before buying, but that would be a first if you did.

When I was young, we used to greet each other with a cool kinda handshake. When parting, saying something akin to a, 'peace-out' was customary. That was the attitude. Respect, in itself, was a kind of social-currency. Now, distinguishing yourself from your others, by any means, is what is valuable. People are swimming in slander, never found libel, myself included. But, if you are expressing respect, online, then it makes you sound like your kissing-up, or that you are one of the 'sheeple' who's elevating someone else to the position of preacher, so it no longer really works.
