Absolutely loving this game after 8yrs of mindlessly farming runes in SW Sky Arena. All the SW content guys seem to be playing this too and loving it. Game is a rly pleasant surprise.
So many people clowned on this game when it was released and even far before that, but I have to say it legitimately is fun and a lot more fun then Sky Arena if your feeling burned out from the Speed/Vio meta in that game because that doesn't exist here, I really do hope YDCB actually continues to play Chronicles as it truly feels like a RPG Skill based Summoners war sky arena, and yet even though the game shoves pack deals in your face at every mile stone the game is surprisingly free to play with all the Monster story free mons and the tons of summons and Nat 5 give away events that are being held, not to mention that all scrolls that aren't attribute specific ones can pull LnDs and the rates being around the same as E7 makes it so much more enjoyable for free to plays and whales. Finally feels like Com2Us cracked the code.
@@ComeRestusFX Genshin is a solo game Chronicles is PvP focused end game with a economy buy and selling material market yes they are both RPGs but they are so different please don’t compare them.
@@timshoot2963 I've only played at release, so no idea what kind of stuff they've added these years, but even then they gave you plenty of summons to get at least 3-4 guaranteed 5* in your first 2 weeks or so.
@@meru8348 That's the funniest thing I've read in a while. "Chronicles is PvP focused end game". There's a single PvP video on youtube and it's played at 2 frames per second. Is that the end game you speak of?Not to mention the game isn't even out for long enough for you to know what the end game is. There's also the fact Genshin is less "solo" as you claim than Chronicles is. And also the fact that they're so different and yet all the UI and even world artstyle is a direct ripoff of Genshin.
The game is a nice change of pace to a game that's been out for like 9 years. SA was, and is for many, and still is great. But chronicles is great, too lol. Definitely more fun week 1in chronicles vs week 1 in SA, respectively.
I like how online public has limited vocabulary, cannot iterate what they're trying to convey. That last comment YDCB read is very common. People tend to explain something in a few words and think others will comprehend them. Thats why I lurk in streams, just mind boggling s... (Much entertaining)
Story/open world is auto but you need to manual story dungeons the first time you do them and later game Autoing is mandatory, plus for Chronicles you have 3 summoners you can choose (Kina healer, Orbia Mage, Cleaf Tank) you need to redo the story again to level them but all the monsters you summon on say Kina will be available on the other 2 summoners after tutorial so the auto is just to speed things up.
Looks like the kind of game that starts out fun then dies after a week when the initial hype is over and players realize it's just another generic p2w game.
I used to play SW for at least a good 2 years. Spend at least $5-6k and only got one Nat5 (water chimera). Because of that I will no longer trust any game from com2us . Plus I moved onto E7 spent about $10-12k I believe but I got every single 5* (including all ML5) so go figure.
I have a Summoner's War account with Giana, Asima, double Yeonghong, and newly buffed light Ryu (special limited collaboration unit that cannot be summoned anymore), along with a ridiculous amount of elemental nat5s and plenty of good LD4s. Lmk if you're interested, I'll sell it for less than you spent on a water Chimera.... I'm selling bc I need the cash to build a PC and a streaming setup.
I'd say as long as you give up trying to get to the top of Arena and PvP stuff, it's ok so far. But there's no way to guarantee new monsters except banner 5 stars and event monsters. You also get a lotta free monsters (mostly 3 stars) from quests. Only way to "rate up" monsters is to have them already and pull on the standard banner with their blessing activated. I think every time you get a 4/5 star, there's a 40% chance it's one of the blessing monsters. Some 3 and 4 star monsters are essential to higher level teams, so if you don't have them, you just have to get lucky. Buuuut on the flip side, idk if higher level teams are necessary to full clear PvE, but can't be sure. There is a decent amount of PvP stuff. For me, it's just a "go as high as you can go" type of deal. No point in worrying about whales Also, you can autofarm wishes (there's a limit tho) that can give anywhere from a 1-4 star monster. Import to use those to get dupes (1, 2, and some 3 star dupes ought to be used to get breath of life too) or hopefully get lucky with a monster you want But even if X monster is best in slot for a team, there are usually others that can fill the role fine, including ones you get free from quests. Tho, building monsters takes quite a bit of resources/time and the item for resetting them is rare. So highly recommended to research to be sure you don't build a mediocre monster if you don't have to. But one thing I like about the game is, you can fill your team with what you're missing with the summoners. Orbia is a DPS, Cleaf is a tank, Kina is a support, and each of them offers 5 different kits depending on the element you choose (which can be swapped in the middle of battle). I think the summoners are arguably the most f2p friendly aspect of the game bc of that. E.g., you may not have a decent monster to strip buffs, but one of Kina's elements allows you to do that. Maybe you need an ATK buffer but a domain prevents you from using wind monsters like Shannon (one of the meta 3 stars and ATK buffer). Kina can buff ATK with fire. I'd have to wait and see how someone clears content with ONLY free monsters (and maybe low awakening 3 stars) to say how f2p friendly it is, but ofc you're not only gonna have those options after playing and wishing for a month. Be sure to keep your monster dupe pieces if you're unsure about the monster families bc skill ups are essential and devilmons are not very easy to get. I've heard someone recommend keeping at least 100 of each but that's just for max awakenings. Maybe 150 is the safest since you need like 15 skill ups (they cost 10, so 50 pieces from fire, wind, and water), but the more of those you keep, the less breath of life you'll have Why did I type all of that
sometimes I wonder if he only makes videos for the ad of Raid shadow legends. And then the question is, how is Raid still a thing? It's still garbage and it's only good for eye candy. There are better games on Nutaku lol
@@OdinMagnus wym angry, im just explain ur curiousity about Raid Ad. Its money. Thats it. Its garbage, yes. But they paid ur bill so why not making videos ads for them. Doesnt matter its still a thing or not
@@clownie1313 I was saying it seems like he only makes videos when he has a sponsorship from them. Followed by a question on why raid is even still around. 2 separate points. I understand he does it for the money. I've heard they pay pretty well for the ad spot. I'm not faulting him for doing it. I'm sure most people would do it for the $4 to $10k that they pay for that 1 min spot.
