What is this idiotic title? He was never a flop. He wasnt given a chnce at RM. Seems like its hard for some people who obviously have no clue abouth Odegaard as a player. He hasnt suddenly become better either. He has always had these skills. I remember a lot of Arsenal fans bashed him a lot and said he was overrated .…I said: Just wait and see, you dont realize what a diamond you have. His crearivity and vision and the way he is able to play hidden passes through defenders is rare. You need good teammates around you for that style of play to be effective and you cant expect him to succeed immediately because his teammates has to learn the way he play,. When you try difficult things you’ll sometimes fail with the passes of course, and sometimes your teammates isnt attentive enough or doesnt know his play enough to read where the pass will come. If Odegaard had the same quality strikers around him as fex KDB has had, he would have had plenty of more assists and goal points at every club he has played so far, also for Arsenal last year. Now that his teammates know his play better you see the result and it isnt because Odegaard has totally changed, he has always had these skills BUT its because the players around him understand him now and therefore he can play with more ease and do things more freely which he couldnt last year fex.

Ødegaard will lift the EPL trophy this season as the captain of the Gunners am just happy for him and Mikel arteta

I feel like Vitesse was the turning point in his career. During that season he became player of the month several times and had Ajax at his feet at the end of the season. I think the Vitesse- coach back then, Leonid Slutsky, was a huge reason why he played better. He managed to rid Ødegaard of his fear of making mistakes.

At the age he arrived at Madrid was impossible for anyone, with Madrid having the midfield it had, but I'm happy he's showing what hes got and really hope Arsenal takes the Premier this year
