@@ritheshkshyathriya6023 Its a bit more than that. Barcelona and Man Utd are going through the same thing, a generational shift. They held on to their legends for to long and when the time came they couldn't replace them all at once. But Milan was more unlucky as their generational shift happened just as FFP was installed and the two to gather created a impossible financial situation. Milan had to sell and chinese bought the club with american loans, chinese couldn't pay the loans and so the club was taken by force not bought.
But there’s one thing none of you have noticed is that I requested for what the heaven is happening and not what the hell. We all know the reason behind milans fall but very few know the reason behind its revival what zlatan and pioli have started.
A natural 9 striker REALLY suits very well with the current Milan strategy, and when you have two very experienced players such as Ibra or Giroud, that makes great wonders in the attack, i am glad to see him having such great performance in this season.
Milan have not played to his strengths. Few crosses. Too often the ball is played to him without any supporting players close by for him to lay the ball off to or run on to it.
Milan should winning every match, why? Because they have 2 soldiers, Giroud and Zlatan. Giroud give other players link and open play. Zlatan give pressure upfront.
Giroud in the 2018 World Cup was phenomenal for the team. He allowed the entire team to excel offensively and defensively cause he was so good at holding off tackles and moving the ball so others could advance. Without him, not a single attacker or attacking midfielder would have so much freedom on the pitch.
@@proro1974 but France didn't need another creator/goal scorer. They already had too many creators and goalscorers. They already had Griezmann, Mbappe, Pogba and Digne for players who could score and create. And given that last tournament, it seems Giroud is just better for the French team than Benzema and that's almost a fact.
@@proro1974 also, if Giroud gets like 6/7 more international goals, he'll beat Henry for most goals for France. Nobody will really care about the games, all that will be noticed is Giroud being France's best finisher internationally.
I screamed at TV every time he missed chances or lost possession, now that he is gone I miss him. Selfless and criminally underrated player. --Arsenal fan
Yeah you, you are exactly the guy I hated the most from Arsenal fans. You guys were so blind on how a key player Giroud was. Arsenal's one touch passing gameplay, possession-based game only was possible with Giroud holding up front and giving midfielders free space to pass, run and goals.
Giroud is one of those players who don’t depends on stats and numbers. these kind of players you have to watch the game to understand why he is very good
As long as you have some pace in attack within the team it doesn't matter. Beckham was a wide playmaker but one of the greatest wide players of one of the greatest generations. For example you could have a number 10 that goes beyond the centre forward on the counter. Ramsey and Lampard both did that brilliantly but neither had immense pace. Quick brains trump quick legs.
All league footballers are fast. They are world class athletes. I've seen Harry Maguire play, even he is stupidly quick. Just the average person is slower. When you have correct positioning and can get past defenders, what can they do when you're running, they are only human
Even when he was at Arsenal i always thought he recieved unwarranted criticism. He was good in his role (target man and link up play). Many Arsenal fans slated him for not being A pacy goal scoring forward which he never was. I always thought it was a badd move by Arsenal selling him. He would have been the perfect optional forward to Auba and one who brought a different strength to the game.
Look up his goal v man u for arsenal, He was struggling to keep the run, bad control. Then he made DeGea look stupid with a bullet! Slow but given time he will absolutely kill you!
Makes up for lack of pace with his great movement and ability to find space, also one of the best when it comes to defending against corners. A Chelsea fan speaking and was really disappointed we ler him go.
Always loved Giroud, watched him in his arsenal days, and I personally liked it when he switched to Chelsea, as a fan. Glad he won the CL with us, even though he didn’t play as much but still. He’s that one guy you want to have in your team as a player.
Mbappé and Haaland, two of the most promising strikers of their generation seem to only want to play for Real Madrid. Almost every strikers/players dreams to play for Real Madrid but only a few of them make it. Benzema has been a starter in Real Madrid for more than a decade. A decade! It's not fair to compare Giroud to Benzema. It would be like comparing Piatek (good player) to Lewandowski (world class player). Arsene Wenger (former Giroud coach at Arsenal) was asked if Benzema should start for France. He answered that Benzema would be a starter for any team in the world. Ask yourself if Real Madrid ever considered Giroud to replace Benzema and if any of the clubs Giroud played for would start Benzema over him. Giroud was essential during the world cup even if he didn't score a single goal he helped his teammates to the best of his abilities and it worked out great. That being said if any coach has to chose between Benzema and Giroud, Benzema will always start (because all the coach in the world think that putting benzema on the pitch will improve their chances to win). They are just in two different leagues (It reminded me of the time some people were against Zidane coming back from retirement to play the world cup 2006 because Dhorasoo was playing great at the time). That's what happened in the french national team. As soon as Benzema came back, he started and before he was banned he spent a long time without scoring but he was still the starter in his coach mind. It says everything... There never was any competition between Giroud and Benzema in any coaches mind. (you know the guys paid millions for their knowledge and experience n football). For fans (like you) it's another story.. They could have played together though.
@@MrKLeBlanc Won't deny that Benzema and Giroud can't be compared but I asked about their importance in the national team , with Griezmann and Mbappe, Giroud is the guy suits in the run of play than Benzema, I never doubted Benzema and his importance , but there needs to be one team with 11 players not 11 best position players in one team
@@saptrishi5 Your argument doesn't work with Benzema though. Benzema is almost a playmaker. His main ability is to make his teammates shine. He can basically play with any player you throw at him. (Griezmann, Mbappé or even Giroud himself). Playing with a player like Benzema would be a dream for any striker. For example Griezmann and Benzema "speak" the same football take a look: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7GDt2sMUR3s.html Mourinho amongts others said that Benzema was the most unselfish striker he's ever seen. Add to that that he can play in almost every postion in the front line and you get a very versatile player that could fit pretty much any system as well. Those are the reasons every coach during more than a decade that came to Madrid (and they always try to recruit the best ones in the world) put Benzema on the pitch as an undisputable starter even when he doesn't score much. Benzema is a striker that bring so much more to the table than goals. In short every coach play with Benzema because they all think that with him on the pitch any team will play better. He is not the type of player that would be "incompatible with others" he is the one making "the others compatible". To give you an idea during the BBC era his role on the field was compared to the role of oil in an engine. If only speaking in terms of sports, France national team will always be better with Benzema on the pitch. That's is way every French coach that had Benzema on his team played him as a starter. Although i'll extend an olive branch by saying that outside of the sports field, the whole "blackmail incident" could have impacted the way some players felt about having Benzema on the team at the time and when a player brings bad vibes in a team .It's better to do without him even if he is the best. So i agree in specific situations a team can definitely play better without one of their best players. ( a team is not the addition of the best players) but After what we've seen recently, it would be difficult to think that Benzema is a problem in the dressing room. Like i wrote before Giroud and Benzema are not in direct competition and never were because they have different profiles and can play together. the competition for Giroud in the French national team is more players like Martial, Ben yedder and now Diaby. Don't fall for the opposition made by their "fanatic fans". Giroud and Benzema could have played together and they did but if a coach has to chose to build his team around Piatek or Lewandowski, he will always chose Lewandowski. It doesn't mean that Piatek and Lewandowski can't play together...
To be honest he was decent at chelsea especially in important games. His performance against atletico in ucl during chelseas victory and that biycicle kick 👌 Giroud is just a few goals away (i think about 4) from beating thierry henry as frances top goal scorer in history
Olivier Giroud is 35 years old and shows no signs of finishing his career. The starting striker for world champions France, Giroud has found the key to be indispensable for his national team and a reliable back up for his clubs.

Downgrade?! Lmao what kind of Milan do you think we're talking now?! It's been 10 years now, the club has literally resurrected with many fantastic players that are wanted by top clubs like Barça with Kessie and Leao, PSG has literally made already an offer for Leao lol
@@etam8099 I love milan but still, we saw what happened in champions league this year. We gotta give them time to become great again, because they are still in development.
@@jsuisebfeu what happened in CL is really unfortunate, but i'd like to mention that 80% of that team is made of young players that had no experience in CL before, yet still gave Liverpool a run for their money, you know they ain't no joke, this season proved that even more, like you said AC Milan is still in development, but the grow or better, the reprise of it's ancient glory, it's clearly showing
I Want A South America Country to Win The World Cup this year bc last Time Brasil won it in 2002 So i think its Time for Europe To Lose Or We will just call it Euros 2022 if u Disagree Tell My why
The man is an absolute class leader in his own lane. I was one of the non believers of his transfer to Chelsea but his unwavering positive spirit and his "For the good of the Team" selfless sacrifices made me love him more than I ever thought was possible for a former arsenal fc guy. I even followed him to Milan to see him prosper. His story is nothing short of the underdog's rise through doubt fairytale. He was the top goal scorer in the Europa Tournament and he deserved the MVP but LA Liga wanted to polish Eden Hazard for his move over there.
if he was a couple years younger he would’ve been a great replacement for Lewandowski but damn… i do like Giroud didn’t like that go-kart comment but he has a damn good résumé
Yes it is , but in context he wasted another year at Chelsea and could have warmed up while Kane was injured then go to Milan He would have signed like a one year contract anyway making him a free agent , and besides , while Kane was back , he wouldn’t get chance so would have to leave anyway
Next Should Be what On Heaven Happened To Fc Barcelona Bc they are Playing Very Well Recently They Still Have Lots of Work To be Done but After What Bartemoue had done To the Club They At least Deserve A Shout Up
He is a great TEAM player he made a great assist today March 19 2022 let’s see what he can do during the international break as Benzema Is injured and will miss classeso tomorrow Benzema should always start on the national team but Giroud should always be on the team

I was so upset when Arsenal let him go. He's not my favorite player, and may not be a consistent goalscorer, but he makes every team better in the final third somehow. Class guy, wouldn't mind him coming back.
Nothing like heaven happening with giroud… he has always been this good… so sad to see players like giroud, navas, Thiago silva ( earlier not now) not getting recognition
