I carried a pocket knife when I was in second grade. My dad got me a Cub Scout knife, carried it everywhere. Great video with Jesper. Picked up a natural micarta Biblio last month. I've been carrying it every day. Love it!

The Pilar 3 and the GM Ace Sonoma are my two favourite pocket knives right now. The Pilar is a great work knife, and the Sonoma is just slender and sleek.

The first time I heard of Jesper Voxnaes was watching a Nutnfancy video where he reviewed the Vox Rold.

I had wanted a knife since I was 4, my parents made me wait till I was 6. My first knife was a Swiss Army; my dad gave me a safety lesson, and 30 minutes after I managed to do everything wrong. I was holding the knife in my left hand (I'm right handed), and I had my index finger underneath the work piece. The knife got hung up a bit and I pushed too hard and it went all the way through. I sliced into the tip of my index finger clear to the bone. I had my finger in a splint for 2 weeks, and I didn't pick it up again for about 3 months. It was painful, but it taught me a respect for tools at a very early age, and I have never cut myself that bad since.

Well, I started sailing age 6 and my first knife was a Pusser’s Dirk, age 7. A Pusser’s Dirk is a folding knife that was issued to the Royal Navy. It has, obviously a blunt square tip, and that was exactly why I was told it was flat. That was 45 years ago, but I still have it (and a couple of others!).

I ordered my first Giantmouse Ace Biblio yesterday! First of all, I'm super excited about the blade and am looking forward to using it as my new EDC for years to come!!! However, I'm curious about your thoughts on maintaining the edge. Will a leather strop with compound be sufficient to keep the edge "hair popping" sharp? I don't have experience with stones and I am hoping that my experience with CPM 3V convex blades (Bark River) and maintaining the edge with a leather stop will work. Thanks in advance.

Really love their designs, but I wish they could figure out the quality control and fit/finish issues. The GM5 was a huge let down (mine had essentially no detent) and I've heard about a lot of inconsistency with the rest of the recent GM/Ace releases.

I want to like pilarge, but i have problems with the locking mechanism is about 1/4 the way and i dont feel secure .i tried to fix it but not 100% happy. Also a lot of side play!

I wish they make chisel grind version as well and in a two variation(chisel direction - left / right)

You guys should do a video of your workers edc knives. Walk around the warehouse and see what people are carrying and why they hose to carry it. Like a mini review on the workers knives.

Who ever edited this missed a prefect time to add that widows fail sound when Vox flipped out one of the knives and failed. That would have been awesome. I have a few of his knives and I have to say none of them stay in the storage bags for very long. My daily rotation is one in the left pocket for heavy duty work and one in the right for general use. I find a Vox design in one of the two at least once a week.

Be great if he could design some non locking versions of his knives so we in the uk could edc them rather than just sitting in my collection

Blade HQ I'm becoming a diesel mechanic and my family runs a mechanic shop also I'm a cattle rancher with my grandfather..So i've always been around tools that see heavy use. I'm an avid knife lover but I have never found a knife that can withstand the needs of a mechanic/rancher because I believe a knife is a tool not an accessory.. All the knifes I've bought to use on my ranch or in the ranch cutting hay bale string to cutting zip ties fail not long after I use them. So my question is do y'all have any recommendations for a knife to fit my needs under $200 Thanks you ahead of time And keep turning out awesome knife videos
