In 8th grade we had to make a movie as a project. I can objectively say a bunch of 8th graders with nothing but a phone camera, a tripod and some toy guns can make a much, much better film
I had to do a project with some friends for high school...... We were all unfunny and absolutely terrible........ It's still better than this shit.....
This literally looks like the kind of stuff made for analog horror, and the fact that one creator went missing and the other died makes me feel like we're living in an ARG
i once tried animating with ms paint and windows video editor in the 6th grade and voice acted all the characters and in my humble opinion its 10x better than anything dingo pictures has done.
Ian Clark I got the same feeling, and it make sense. They may declare to have invested a lot in the project and using to evade taxes, or something like that.
I am German and I watched those films as a kid. But not at home or in some other reasonable place. No it was in the shopping mall at the middle class fashion store, which had a kids area. They had all of these films.. Don't know why.
"You could have something with the 'Yee' dinosaur" No. You can't even have that. Because "Yee" is only present in the Italian dub. The glorious Italian dub. Two voice actors, and only one of them could actually speak Italian.
I can tell from the accent those lines were done by Dutch people. Most likely they actually had no clue what they were reading or saying. It was in English which they didn't seem to understand well.
@@GoddessCeleste The movies are originally dubbed in German and a big meme in Germany. The studio is in Germany too. Pretty sure they were German buddy.
Here in Germany, when I was a child, these films were often shown in children's play areas in department stores. Fortunately, there is no such thing nowadays.
@@terrensical Fortunately only a few excerpts. But what I will never forget is a song from Aladdin. Then he sings that it's better to flee on a magic carpet than on an airplane. Bcause that's more ecological. How does he know what an airplane or ecological is?
I own several of Dingo Picture's movie on DVD. My grandparents bought them for me and my sibling, thinking it was the original. I do not forgive them for giving me such traumas
The voice acting in these movies straight up sounds like kids being held captive, forced to play with toys that they hate, and forced into coming up with stories for those toys.
Omg I had no idea Dingo was German!!! I'm from close to Friedrichsdorf, too. 😂 I apologize on behalf of my people hahaha. I also feel the need to say that at 13:57 he sings "Oh where is my head, I'm staring at a SOUP KETTLE"... No idea what that's about lmao
If you watch the magic carpet scene later in the movie, “Aladin” talks about how flying on a magic carpet is more ecological than flying on a plane. WTF!?
I remember years ago... In some big clothing shops here in Germany, there were these kids' corners with small TVs, playing dingo movies on loop... ''I bet they even made a profit of it.'' Flashbacks to little me begging my mom to buy a 101 Dalmatians DVD and it was a dingo rip off thing, despite her telling me the cover box tells it's not the real one. Knowing this horrendous ''animation'' studio comes from Germany makes me ashamed to be German. XD
I think stores like C&A, H&M and Deichmann were playing these monstrosities just because they were very cheap to get. Nowadays it's not the case anymore, and I'm glad!
They showed Aladdin to us in kindergarten and I remember liking it I’ve been searching for the origins of that obscure Aladdin movie and here it is. I’ve never felt so betrayed
Isn't that kind of the basis for Bendy and the Ink Machine? (This is from someone who has never played it and only know about it from the fan songs...)
The yee dinosaur looks like someone's creepy grandfather who got left in an abandoned retirement home in the woods for too long, and is now hunting for children.
I think the “voice actors” didn’t even know they where being recorded and just read a really really really really really really really bad script and whew paid afterward with alcohol
If you ask me, it sounds like they reading English, but don't know what any of it means. Its like If I read out loud something, written in a foreign language and spoke it in that said language. And if you ask me what it means in translation, "I don't know, but that is what it says." It bugs me as much as learning math but not really applying to anything. Why learn the damn thing if your not going to use it correctly... Sorry I was a bit triggered.
Even to today standards, GoAnimate and Vyond had Text-To-Speech voices than real voices including others from different sources like VoiceForge where it was discontinued about two years ago, and Acapela Group which isn’t available in the new Vyond Studio as well as the Legacy Video Maker which is going to retire later this month.

@@cameronbosch1213 well, that just brings up more questions than answers. namely: how did the people making the mockumentary even found out when ickert's death was?
Aren't Phoenix Games the same guys that made dauntless? I mean I wouldn't be surprised if this was their "start", but they certainly had. A huge glow up lol.
7:15 "Could you imagine the poor kid who was excited to watch The Lion King but got this instead?" Yes, I was actually that kid, I got that ripoff movie as a kid instead of The Lion King
@@danielkiciak9899 With this. At least it's freaking animated. Also, I actually got to talk to the guy who made it on deviantart, and he's actually pretty chill. He's not a sadist, like most people believe. He was trying to make a statement. Yeah, it got jumbled up as heck, but I found it pretty interesting.
@@pundertalefan4391 Is it possible to clear up a bit your explaination? Like, who do you mean with "the guy who made it you've got to talk to on DeviantArt"?
Oh trust me, there’s *nothing* worse than Dingo Pictures. The only thing worse than them are movies like Birdemic. Then again there are different ways to be “the worst”.
Interesting how, despite ripping off popular movies at the time, these cartoons seemed to feel very old in some strange way even at the time of their release. Then I found out that the creators were already rather old at the time these cartoons were made.
"Ok, let's go through my 5 points: Story: *Beep* Voice Acting: *Beep* Dialogue: *Beep* Editing: *Beep* and Animation: *Beep* " Best line in Saber's RU-vid career.
Robin Williams would've been probably laughing his ass off at Dingo's attempt at Aladdin and signed on for The Genie because he find it hilarious and wanted to get back at Disney.
except its all the same 6th grader doing the voices because they "split up the project" and he insisted "i am the greatest at impressions" but doesnt realize they all sound like him
Aw! I recently found Caddicarus! I've been watching quite a lot of both of you lately. It's cool to see the nod to him in one of your older videos, it let's me know I have years of good content to catch up on from both.
My brother’s girlfriend legit had a copy of Animal Soccer World she played as a child she thought it was just a fake memory she had Now seeing those catalog I can completely understand why anyone would deny their films as real films
"Mamma e papà hanno un nuovo bebè, non se ne fanno più niente di te!" is a meme in Italy... if you thought the English versions are horrendous, the Italian dubs are California wildfire grade horrifying. Some joke that they literally got Bangladeshi and Ghanese immigrants that didn't know the language and forced them to dub the movies, the accents and stutters are really heavy!
I remember when I was smaller in some German mall, the Lion King rip off was on some screen, not sure what kind probabely a television, and even I was like "Did Disney make this?"
I swear I've seen stuff like this when I was in kindergarten in 2005. The old computers at my school and at the public library at that time would have really terrible animated cartoons like this, but I never thought anything of it, because I was too young to notice, and fantastic graphics weren't really a thing yet, so I couldn't compare the bad animations to that.
This is where all that phone scam money went. And all the dialogue was recorded with the same phone system. Someone just held a recorder up to the receiver.
By the way: The german lyrics of the song at 13:56 are: "Ach, wo steht mir nur der Kopf? Ich schau auf einen Suppentopf.", which means: "Oh, where is my head? I look at a soup pot." - Wow! Just wow!
In German, the song in the same movie (Alladin, yes, that is the spelling on the English DVD) has lyrics of how Aladin (again, deliberate spelling, as that is what the title card in the movie calls Aladdin; yes, there is an inconsistency between the DVD and the movie) singing about how is carpet is more ecological than a plane. What kind of crack were Ludwig and Roswitha smoking!? 😂
There’s this Swedish RU-vidd called Montefjanton who has a whole series dedicated to dingo pictures and has watched every single one and reviewed them 10/10 would recommend
Legends say that if you see all of the Dingo movies without pausing or booze AND play all the Dingo related PS games, you unlock the secrets of the universe.
