@@richmurri7404 good question but I'm embarrassed to say they're just dangling in the console 😅 you can put some heat shrink around them or electrical tape. I don't plan to use them anytime soon
Just installed a 7" model and with no instructions just like this guy found. RED was plus and Black was negative. Had to solder fuse link into red. The other bolts and screws are for the transducer. I guess that 3 hrs of shop time would be required. If you are familiar with boat.....and fast 2 hours shop time is all it would take. Can't wait to give it a try!
Ran into the same issues yesterday. You answered all my questions. Was the power cable long enough to run it to the battery? If i hook mine straight to the batter it wont be long enough to actually plug in
My battery is in the center console directly underneath where I mounted my unit so it was long enough, where is your battery located in relation to your unit ?
@@AntMarshy ah then yeah you'd either need to extend the cables to give yourself enough length or try and hook it into the fuse box. Thankfully my setup happened to be the path of least resistance and also able to be hooked directly into the battery.
