An interesting thing about this year, when the Baltimore ravens beat the Patriots in the wild card, it was the first time the Patriots had lost a playoff game at home in 34 years. Being able to beat the Patriots In Foxborough during the playoffs is a huge source of pride for Ravens fans.

I remember playing Madden 11, which featured those 2009 moments including the Stokley Week 1. In the Colts Saints moment, you actually had to beat the Saints with two touchdowns, and you needed to onside kick because of the time remaining. 2009 was such a great year.

I was getting to the end and having not heard the Stokely call by then, was gearing to feel shorted. I rewatch that call at least 10-15 times per year. Top quality content as usual, my friend!

NFL 2009 was insane. So many QB'S in their primes. Almost every team and a great #1 wr, a really good #2, and a deep threat #3. So many 3 down rbs that could catch the ball. So many long TD's , punt returns, int. The season was crazy, the playoffs were crazy, as was the Super Bowl. Regular season games Vikings @ Steelers, Packers@Steelers, and playoff games Packers@Cardinals and Vikings@Saints really stand out

Wow. Takes me back to my Sophomore year in College. When the Saints and the Colts had awesome starts and easily one of my favorite NFL seasons. Also, gotta love Favre playing for Minnesota that season and the crazy Packers-Cardinals Playoff game, as well as the great Brady vs. Manning matchup in Sunday Night Football in Week 10. I loved that season so much.

I was in third grade this year I started playing tag football at recess as a running back. It would’ve been in September which is preseason but I didn’t know at the time. I didn’t know anything about football. After my first game I scored 3 tds which is no accomplishment. But it’s what got me into football it’s what made me as a 9 year old want Adrian Peterson and Brett Favre to win the super bowl. I was at my grandmas when the pick was thrown, months after my first taste of football and I was heart broken. Looking back at this season reminds me of the first year I wanted to watch and play football.

2009 was the first year I started watching football I was eight years old and my chargers had the second best record in the AFC with 13 and three I was so young then I knew nothing about any other team except my chargers. When they got upset by the New York Jets I cried so hard it took me months to get over it

2009-10 school year was such a crazy year for me. I was in 11th grade witnessing the Saints making their super bowl appearance and winning it, Started dating & going out more, finding out my mama had breast cancer etc. But I Still remember after the win against the jets in like week 4, we started forwarding chain messages saying "black & gold to the super bowl!!! pass it on" & the saints went ALL THE WAY! One of 3 NFL teams to make their super bowl appearance and & WIN! I'll never forget that moment a day in my life! It's one of those "where were you when _____ happened"
