Many of these rioting idiots are not even from the city. We need real leaders, not false leaders, of all colors in our communities to truly help people in our poor communities to gain an education in every skill, in trades, not just college, but college too, to break the cycle of poverty, not just allow our poor to be always dependent upon the government. Also, all of us (all colors) must very vocally demand that our leaders stop the drug cartels and stop the gun running into our cities and the destruction of our people and cities from outside of our country. @@GApeech08 The difference is that in FL we have legal protections if we run over protestors or shoot looters. The protestors and looters know this. In NYC they knew that they could run in to Macy's and run out with two arms full of stuff and the cops were powerless, whereas in Florida you can get killed over it. Knowing that the law is on our side empowers us to protect the property of our friends and neighbors, and also lets would-be rioters know that monkey business will not be tolerated as it is in blue state shitholes.
I'm happy for Florida to have a governor that cares for his people. I live in Minnesota and Gov. Walz in my opinion dealt with covid pretty well last year. But when it came down to the small business owners fighting to keep their head above water with covid PLUS their store broken into and or burnt down after George Floyd..He would look the other way.

As a white female thats lived 90% of my 36yrs here in Chicago, i can honestly say ive been harrassed, targeted and discriminated against many, many times. If im driving thru an all black neighborhood i get pulled over bec im thought to beb purchasing drugs. Ill get asked dozens of times a month if i have some spare cash bec 'im privileged' so i have it and i should give it. Ive been robbed twice. Both times were black men .i get ignored in all sorts of stores and restaurants if a black or brown person is standing behind me so they can get served first. Im told that bec im white im a racist. Now all of that aside, my kids are only 2 outta the 20 at the local park district that signed up for social interactions and sports. They get along with every single kid and every single kid gets along with them. This rhetoric and racism is taught and im sick of it. Children don't hate based on color. Adults do. Its the content of ur character that matters. And with that said, it's making ppl racist who never were and never gave it a thought.
