Brace yourself, this comment is looong. First off, I come in peace. I have 21 of those FCB3 (Fake [Ph]oebe [Ph]ilo Collection of Celine Classic Box Bag Bitches) and counting. And while your post could be described as semi-rant, all I hear are songs of praise for a classic design. Note, not the bag, the design. Phoebe Philo is thanking you in a way, cause the House of Celine did her dirty, tbh. In light of the latest Italian court release, it is now a fact that bags with lux brands sold at 4-digit USD$ (in others, 6-8), are made using inhumane unethical practices and insane markup. This setup is quite predictable, cause the victims had access to the blueprint, and thus can (and did) make the product sans the snobbery-which explains your new bag’s toxic smell. You can sanitize and air the bag to rid that, btw. And your sus supplier is probably them. And in our economy, basic needs trump our reason for being, I mean joy. Now about the bag. First, let’s talk about the joy of getting them here in my home. I sourced mine on online live-selling. Quite fun because some didn’t know FCB3s and some did- which were mostly shops that sell “mirrors”. They would disclose the scratches and tears apologetically, while I secretly marvel at the nuances. Anyway, I will be having more of those in the future coz my cats also love the bags as scratch pads. After currency conversion, my cheapest is at $2, and in the future, I swear to my shopaholic self not to spend over $65 (coz pre-loved mini sizes are hard to find, girl. I might reward myself with brand-new ones). They average at $8 a pop. Even the medium ones. Now for the design. Don’t you adore it? Simple, silent, and lethal. A pickpocket’s nightmare. You have to wrestle it out over my dead body. Not for the lightweight - coz they ARE heavy, and I will depend on them to knock my assailant unconscious. Not for the lazy either. It can fit so little, you learn to edit and be purposeful. Great for my overthinking. Not for Mary Poppins. Plus, this design is genius- so simple that even from afar, those in the know, knows, and will give one an aesthetic that is with class, elegance, respect, no-BS, modern, and grace. Comes in all colors and finishes, but with three sizes (they did drop the large, coz it screams messenger bag). Ivy, your box bags are never fake (dupe, replica, inspired, whatever). It is still a bag. We speak of design here, and this piece reflects a message authentic to you and me. A homage to a design fenced by propriety. I’m delighted by your attention to detail and will be checking in vintage shops for the “screw” element. Cherish all of them like I would. Hope you read this in its entirety.

Love the new styling. I was going to get the smaller size last year but I watched another RU-vidr review and she frankly said it looked like something you’d find at Target… OMG! Also, it was pretty pricey last year. Anyway, I’ll probably buy the new lvguci replica again because I really like the added chain… Have fun!
