Personal opinion on Imogen's mother is that she and possibly other Exalted will die or transform/transcend opening up Ruidus. Essentially batteries to power the release. Ludinus's comment that Liliana was essential to the plan then leaving things unsaid. So I reading between what Ludinus did not say. Hence Liliana telling Imogen to run. Whether Liliana is at peace and all in with what will happen to her, or is in a position where she cannot get away and is accepting what will come to her (maybe she is a brain in a jar) I don't know. I don't think we will know until she appears.

we know imogens mother lied to ludinus cause he tells imogen her mother has been calling to her wanting to come to help them and imogen lies and says she knows even though her mother has been telling her to run and we know lelliana only went to otohan because she didn't understand her powers and wanted more answers the grim variety couldn't give her

No, I don't think we'll get Vorugal. That was a good bit after Umbrasyl and what with the last episodes of the season seemingly being all the stuff in Westruun, I expect them to cliffhang us on either Hotis or Raishan and then deal with Vorugal in season 3. And depending on if they'll stretch the CC arc to season 4 or not we'll get Thordak and Raishan at the end of season 3 or 4. Though I think season 3 is more likely. I am a bit worried for after the CC, because Tary's adventures don't really fit neatly in a single story arc, it's more like a bunch of sidequests (which isn't a bad thing, mind you, lots of great moments during that arc), so I'm worried viewer numbers will go down for that season and that could potentially lead to no further season for the Vecna arc. But, like you said, all that's a long way away.
