I'd personally choose magic, only due to it being the most vague, so theoretically you could make a spell that allows you to teleport, or that lets you shapeshift, or manipulate time. It's basically all the other ones, just with a bit more work put into it.

Shapeshifting for a lot many reasons Selfish ones aside It includes a great many powers depending on the type of shapeshifting If it's partial and you can basically just rearrange your own atoms, you could have flight, Immortality, Regeneration, among others. Flight? Grow wings or make yourself as dense as air Regeneration, easy Camouflage or disguising, obviously covered Fight? Get blades for arms, or just shoot out fire from your fingertips Wanna be faster? Generally reducing your own mass could do the trick to accelerate yourself faster or you could just alter your anatomy to be faster Among many other fun non combat things

If I could pick multiple, here’s the ones I’d pick: Coolness wise: shapeshifting, flight, mind control, flight, invisibility, and size changing Useful in my daily life: forming things out of thin air, teleportation, pausing time, rewinding time, amazing reflexes, mind reading (if I could turn it on and off), telekinesis, and being able to make clones. (I could send one to have a convo that I don’t want to have, then have it come to me so I can hear what happened and stuff, and I would have someone to rant to [that would always agree with me] and have the same obsessions I do) But rq, with the making things out of thin air, you could make a thing that makes anything, which sounds like the power, but, it could actually make people (fictional too), and you could change the settings on the thing, reverse things caused by something you created, etc.

about making things out of thin air, you’re still making matter and are kind of limited to that. you would still need to know how it works so that you can design and create the object accordingly. Kinda like 3D printing. it can print pretty much anything, but it still needs a model in order to understand what exactly you need it to print in order to get the result you want.

@@riffraff7942 I would usually assume shapeshifting does not include innate traits like intelligence, but if it does, that also means you get the animals intelligence if shapeshifting into an animal. In most cases that involves turning pretty stupid, little to no capacity for planning, unable to read, unable to understand conversations etc, and maybe too stupid to turn back. And if you turn into an inanimate object, then you would have literally no intelligence. I would rather have shapeshifting where it doesn't affect your intelligence. I also interpreted "temperature regulation" more like having fire and ice-powers, not just regulating your own body temperature, almost every animal can do that to some extent, but that's still very useful in extreme climates.

I think shapeshifting is the best. Allow me to show you how to utilize a large portion of the other powers in this list with just shapehifting 0:05 (shapeshift yourself into something that cant be perceived by humans) 0:13 (shapeshift quicker muscles) 0:18 (shapeshift stronger muscles) 0:59 (pretty much just replicate through mitosis) 1:13 (shapeshift venom glands) 1:26 (give yourself wings) 1:45 (shapeshift yourself to have a thing attatched, then un attach said thing.) 4:00 (re-shapeshift anything damaged back 4:06 (have literal titanium skin) 4:11 (give yourself gills) 4:17 (duh) 4:24 (instant regeneration plus renewing dead cells means you can not only live forever, but also die whenever you want as well) 5:00 (become sticky) 5:12 (shapeshift into a stretchy substance) 5:17 (shapeshift yourself a better nose/ears etc.) 5:24 (shapeshift into a bigger/smaller version of yourself) This is why shapeshifting is the superior superpower. In order of preference 1) “Path to Victory” a enhanced form of precognition that calculates the route to achieving a certain goal 2) “reality warping” the premiere superpower in any setting 3) “inspired inventor” download knowledge into your mind of any topic (typically restricted by number of used per day or month). Can cover any topic from technology to historical knowledge and extends to knowledge that has been forgotten or not yet discovered

Path to Victory is only good for resolving some kind of Big Bad Problem, which you will need to devote all your life to (or just reducing humanity's general freakiness, i guess). 'Cause oherwise, you slowly start to depend on it more and more and more, to resolve your daily little problems, slowly becoming a spectator of path's life rather than the one living it (that's how i imagine i going, at least) Reality warping sounds cool, but that's going too far. Personally, i would be satisfied with Alexandria's powers - i really want super intelligence, and eidetic memory plus whole "flying brick" is quite a pleasant addition.

I think gravity manipulation would be cool, as in designate the strength and direction of gravity in a chosen 3-dimensional volume. You could use it lightly and upward to make things float like telekinesis, or yourself float for flight. You probably couldn't do "teleportation" with it because the strength needed would rip you apart. But it could do a forcefield effect if you set it strong enough that it would rip apart anything that touched the designated area. Also make your ceiling a second floor and double the square footage of your house.

Force field will have a "little" drawback or bonus - mass creates time dillation, so you basically can increase time around yourself or slow down other people for your preception. The issue is that this sort of mass will cause creation of black holes on a small day-to-day life.

@@calluxdoaron1903 I was thinking more of a mosaic of tiny volumes forming the shield that all point gravity in different directions, so the shredding would work less in the differential across the shield and work more like hundreds of tiny blender blades. Also my general premise was the application of the forces, not generating mass to drive the forces indirectly. Good points though, the mechanics weren't clearly defined

You could just get a parachute and go skydiving by jumping off a tall building and switching your gravity sideways. Plan your route, and go faster than any car, with a far more entertaining ride. Just make sure to have safety precautions.

@@vinstual9830yeah but it's the one ability that can be outdone by any person with enough practice, you may be number 1 but the number 2 might just be an atom behind you in terms of skill. Then there's also the fact that mastery of weapon alone doesn't instantly make you win a battle, you might lose because you don't have enough stamina or is blindsided by your enemy's tactics. There's a reason why martial artist does as much if not more physical training than weapon proficiency training.

@@robbieaulia6462 very true. I can agree that stamina and other skills might not be as good as others but we are talking about reality-bending abilities here. Once someone stops time and gets rid of all other super people and/or makes themselves invincible and a time paradox, then theres no beating that except other super humans are wishing to get a constand back and fourth through all Dimensions in order to eliminate the other, just for them to Re-wish their immortality. The reason why i think the Power of wishing is the best one, is because its easy to use and you can play it passive, so that no one can hurt you nor erase you from existance. Another reason why i think that there will be almost no casualties is that no normal person with superpowers would go ahead and attack others out of fear to Lose their abilities since thats not what we want.

mine would either be teleportation, portals or what i would most like: access to pocket dimension(s) that i can shape to my will and store stuff in so i can always take all my stuff with me (and to clear up space in my home and so i am not weighed down all the time)

I'd go with intuitive space manipulation (no need to calculate exact coordinates). Fold space to teleport things, you could probably float things with a more complex folding, compress space to slow time, expand space to accelerate time, create a pocket space where you can't be disturbed, create infinite distance between things, and a few more shenanigans.

With electrokinesis(electricity control) you could fly in the clouds, teleport small distances, create weapons that only you can use and have them shoot energy bullets made of lightning, and with greater control you could do stuff like charge phones

For me, it's making things out of thin air (I hate buying things with money), immortality (as I don't really care about losing everyone), bringing people back to life (so immortality is ACTUALLY worth it) and breathing underwater (or hydrokenesis) so I don't drown every time I swim (lol)

Immortality would grant you many abilities, including self-sustenance: the ability of requiring less food, drink, oxygen, sleep in order to live. You wouldn’t need water breathing as a separate ability, since Immortality works just as well

Creating matter doesn't sound easy, though. Portals aren't "items", they're pathways, you can't exactly create them as if they are handmade. Infinite money, yeah, you can. Clones of someone is also a far stretch, as it'll need you to create a conscious for them, which, again, is not a physical thing you can create Same as above for someone who was dead Again, same for magical powers.

I'd personally find either super speed or space manipulation the best, super speed gives you the able to manipulate time once you outrun the speed of light which gives you time travel (you can fix your mistakes in the past, revive someone by going back in time and learn about the future) you can stop time (get out of problems that come out of nowhere) and become invisible to the naked eye, space manipulation can be useful because of it's teleportation, you can go wherever you want without paying for an airplane ans do everything, want to get some people or somethings with you? open a portal, not just that but you can time skip using teleportation, such as skipping 5 min running after something or in a fight to the death you can skip time and just teleport behind while you are using your hitting him on his neck, you can also go invisible manipulating space, you can do that because you can use the energy of space around you and covers you, you can do a lot more, so spacs manipulation and super speed are the most useful super powers

If you breath under water you literally don't need to be worried about fast ascending. You can just safely swim up.

If you adjust slowly then pressure is not as much of a problem. There are people who have dived to over 100 meter deep, while 40 meters is usually the considered the safe limit for scuba divers if i remember right. I still think water breathing is far from the most useful superpowers, when we already have equipment that can do the same thing, humans are either way rather bad swimmers, and most of the time outdoor waters are too cold to stay in for extended periods anyway. It may still be good in some situations, can be fun and could even save your life, but I think most other superpowers easily beat it

I always wanted the power to know everything that’s happening around me. Sorta like a 6th sense. I can tell the surroundings with my eyes closed, I know what is 5 feet underground, I just have a sort of screen in my head about anything interesting around me.

For Me I would love either shape shifting or the ability to go invisible, Invisibility because I have horrible social Anxiety so anytime I'm nervous about someone staring at me just (POOF) I'm Invisible. And shape shifting Because I always worry about other peoples opinions so if someone doesn't like how I look (Or heck I don't like how I look.) I can fix it with zero plastic surgery and technically I have all superpowers because I can just shape shift into something that has that power! ( I also like to act out different scenarios and when doing so I pace back and forth so I could just split myself into all the characters I want in that situation and just play out the situation instead of looking like a crazy person walking around 😂) I think I know my favorite superpower.. Shape Shifting!

Electrokenesis is far more usefull and powerfull there are a lot of others aswell then manipulating metals As you could do most of what you can with electrokenesis cuz magnetism but even without electricity is far more usefull in modern day its also better in combat as you should be able to make both plasma and magnetic forcefields and electricity is very lethal but also you should be able to read minds via reading electrical signals in the body and control mind and body cuz that aswell uses electricity (for most of the actions that require low delay) I could prob go on and on but I will stop

Your description for flight is super accurate for me. It's awesome, I could travel faster, I could get away for once from my younger sister who seems she's constantly trying to find something to argue about with me, and I'm a Minecrafter so I could make elytra courses for myself irl. So in other words, flight is the main superpower I would love to have, but some others that I would love to have as well are talking to animals (bc I live on the edge of a forest, so just think about how many friendships I could have with squirrels, birds, and possibly rabbits,) shape shifting, weapon mastery (bc my persona sometimes uses a sword,) portal summoning, and telekinesis

I choose shape-shifting, because it will also unlock a lot of other abilities. I could talk to animals by being an animal, I could be a Gray wolf, be strong because I could change my muscles, breathe underwater by being a fish, ect.

I would have telekinesis for multiple reasons. One being the one stated. But with it you could do virtually anything. You could fly, you could stop almost all physical danger. But for me I have a coordination disorder and writing is super painful for me, so writing would probably be the main thing I would do with it.

Ice Power, definitely. Has many applications, depending on the situation. Time Manipulation would be cool too. Depends on if when time is stopped one is able to move the objects and people frozen in time. Immortality has different meanings based on the ability. Immortal as in unable to die from old age or natural causes, or in the sense that one is simply unable to die from anything at all. It also could be the case that one would be unable to die from natural causes and old age, yet able to die from other causes to be brought back as the age of when the ability first manifested.

Teleportation: I get flight, ‘invisibility’ by being somewhere else, nobody can stop me from doing literally anything(ex: staying up all night watching random RU-vid videos) I have pretty decent reflexes so I can pretty much just not die until I feel like it because I can teleport the bad stuff out of my body, if I wanted to, I could murder literally anyone, so I’ve achieved world peace(that’s how that works, right?) I can explore nearly anywhere because if I’m in trouble I teleport somewhere else, and oh, yeah. I can just sit in some obscure place with WiFi and do ANYTHING I WANT BECAUSE WHO IS GONNA STOP SOMEONE YOU CAN’T TOUCH?

Remember, the power to make forcefeilds can be used to make sort of pressure zones. Combined with simple magical energy manipulation and you can make magic bombs on par with nuclear blast the with something that looks like the size of a marble.
