Yes it certainly was an interesting hunt with a mixture of finds, did like the token though someone used it for target practice. Nice bit of history right there. Nice hunt Andrew, cheers mate and all the best 👍😀👋 Tony

That token, "oh no it had to be shot at", the navy buckle are both my favorites. Special mention of the buttons. I have yet to find one!. Actually haven't found any of them yet! I will keep hunting. Well done CBK!

Nice assessment of find’s Andrew, on a personal note do you find much difference between the 800 and 900, just wanted to ask weather it’s just an upgrade or a totally different machine.. I’m tossing up between it and the manticore.. only thing stopping me at the moment I have a wedding to pay for 😂

Why couldn't the shooter have been a bad shot, otherwise it's almost mint, bugger!... Ive only found one of those little buckle's, and I tried to do a CBK on it, Nah! broke the teeth right off!... I think i found a mercury cap a while ago, normally i'd rush out and check my finds collection to compare, but there all packed away in boxes under other boxes, not happening!... Working the shade on a hot day, I do that as well, otherwise my energy evaporates to quick and im done in! Love the anchor buckle, Thanks for the hunt, Cheers Andrew! Hooray!

Howdy Andrew, I'm thinking the cap with the mercury symbol on it was off a bottle full of mercury. In the second half of the 1800's Australia was importing 35,000 metric tons of mercury every year to separate the gold out of crushed ore. It was shipped in either ceramic jars or glass bottles. I tried to find that particular logo online but I couldn't. It's a cool Victoria Gold Fields artifact whoever made it. California was loaded with cinnabar (the mineral mercury is extracted from) and the cinnabar mines there made more total money than the gold mines did because mercury was in such high demand in the American west and Australia. Good video with lots of other nice finds but that ones my favorite. You and best editor on You Tube take care and have a good week. Your buddy, Roelf

It's great to see these excellent finds with your 900, Andrew! I watched it when you first released it but only got to commenting now..... #too.many.grandkids 🤣 But they're back with their parents, back to school, and I'm back (hopefully) to some detecting. They (the kids) do like to 'have a go' but the attention span is somewhat lacking! Thanks for another great vid!
