in previous patches, like when blade was released, all harmony characters ignored him. The Mihoyo change logic, i guess they just buffed blade priority.
Fun Fact: It isn't just Tingyun AI that prioritizes Blade when using ult now Bronya skill also prioritizes Blade even when using DHIL and Seele in the same team.
Yeah, Blade is the culprit. I dont have blade, but usually for farming i lend a e6 blade from friendlist, ting always buff him. Now this friend change into e6 Jingliu, and now ting buff my DHil.
a few patches ago my tingyun kept ulting my silverwolf in team with sampo kafka... it was driving me mad too, kafka and sampo lvl 90 with traces 10 10 10 and good equip, my sw lvl 70 traces 8 6 6 with some purple artifacts too... patches before that she kept ulting fire MC or blessing natasha... THEN a day, after a patch, she started buffing kafka. I think they keep making her better with time, changing priorities or something but they forget of new characters on release... try again in a couple of weeks XD
sadly I don't have a proper ice set, so just place holder with some of my best sub-stats, but got her to 135 SPD 2.6k ATK 43.1 Crit rate 201.9 Crit dmg and with her LC, she is shredding MoC 10 apart with Bronya/Tingyun/Loucha since i'm still in the process of building Pela worth it
tingyun buffs my dan heng over herself, luocha, yukong, etc... and dan heng has 140 cost so i dont think the lower cost is true. and ive tested it with dan heng and blade...she buffs blade
if I run Kafka with another dot TY will always buff Kafka but ult the other dps I dunno why. She seems to buff one dps and ult another dps so if you want both skill and ult on 1dps you cant have 2 dps in the team. She does it even on Pela sometimes in SU so I think if 2 unit meet a hidden threshold (Atk%/Crit%/DMG%/Path) for DPS she will split her buff.
Put kafka on the rightmost team slot. If two targets are the same class (nihility) she will use her ultimate on the rightmost party slot. When my team was Fu Xuan/Kafka/Silver Wolf/Tingyun she would keep ulting Silver Wolf, but once I swapped it around to Tingyun/Silver Wolf/Kafka/Fu Xuan, she ults kafka every time.
I think it's fixed now but my Bronya always targets Luocha instead of whatever DPS I run... you can say it's based off attack in this case. Dunno the Blade logic

Nope, they just fucked up blades coding. Back in patch 1.2 bronya would buff luocha instead of blade, they then "fixed" it by prioritizing blade instead lol which for some reason affected every dps.
I wonder if Tingyun AI is calculating based on the Base Stat of the character's ultimate damage perimeters. If that's the case, since Blade has Attack + HP and HP Lost in battle will always be targeted because his base perimeters will be insanely high. A test will be to make Blade's stats so his HP and Attacks is less than 4K Attack of Jingliu and see if that would work.
So this is apparently a thing. Its been happening to Bronya's Skill targetting as well. Zero relic equipped Blade vs Fully equipped JL in maniac mode. Blade still gets buffed by Bronya.

When it comes to Tingyun auto-battle, the same situation happens when Kafka and Sampo are on the same team. Tingyun uses her Skill on Kafka but refuses to use the Ult on her, she always give it to Sampo.
same problem with tingyun. im auto battle farming in SU i have DOT team with kafka, tingyun, fu xuan + debuffer, when i put pela tingyun always E and ult pela, when SW tingyun will E kafka and ult SW. cant utilize defense shred characters tingyun always buff pela and SW in DOT team. now i change to remembrance run with jingliu with pela for now without tingyun, such a waste if tingyun can buff correct hypercarry in auto battle it would be great.
Hoyo is a company that can't figure out how to code artifact load outs for YEARS. How can you expect them to actually write code to auto battle correctly?
@@princessochka3690 Same, I literally have to walk away from the computer. Hoyo could put in artifact/relic loadouts with the snap of a finger, they don't want to because resin/trailblaze power refreshes is a major source of income so they want you to farm for every character.
I think maybe Tingyun ai targets highest hp/def, since she seems to always target the tanks. Maybe it focuses on the survivability of the team and thought blade was a tank
I really do think they could give us a auto battle setting feature where we can pick what skills to use and its condition or something. would be super nice
From my experience Tingyun ults on the ally that get the most usage out of the energy gain, or rather the ally that would be the closest to getting their ult after getting her 50 energy. Unfortunately that's often not what you want on auto
8:56 I been running Jing Yuan, Blade, Fu Xuan and Tingyun as my auto farm team and she still only uses her ultimate on Blade. Edit: Do whatever it takes to get E6 Guinaifen Code 💳
auto-battle can be wack sometimes, I've had battles where my Bronya advances Luocha instead of Seele, but every time that happened it was in SU so blessings probably messed with something.
How is code's Jingliu hitting for 100k , my only hits for like 40k per E, I have quantum set 136 speed, 230CD , 2k atk, 30% cr with Clara LC at lvl 50 (I will buy Herta store one in about 3 months -_-) But holy fk how is there that much dmg difference

gdam got her on 280+cdmg with 43 crtt. 2.3k dmg 4.2k health, not even using her lightcone just s5 fall of aeon😂. she more crack than my both seele and dps welt
@@aeowinh reverse tingyun gives only characters which requirement less energy. Jingliu has 140 meanwhile blade 120. And hunt yet more less 100. The reason is A.I doesnt read in mind of the human correctly. He think about more to be more effective. Because the chars has less energy allow to them for more spam Ulitimate more spam Ultimate =more damage .
My Tingyun in team order 1. Tingyun 2. Jing Yuan 3. Blade uses skill at Jing Yuan and ult at Blade. Tingyun in team order 1. Tingyun 2.Blade 3. Jing Yuan uses skill at Jing Yuan and ult at Jing Yuan. So there are team order priority.
I enjoy that you keep your 5-Stars at a relatable level. Some units at E2 aren’t major deals, but then others are crazy (DHIL & Jingliu). Personally, I’d be fine with you snagging E1s on your limited banner characters if you wanted them.
Is the battle pass option recommended on her if it’s available? “I have all the 4 star destruction lightcones” so do I use it on her or others are better ?
