In Australia the red bags are called cheese supreme, blue bags are cool ranch, yellow are nacho cheese and there’s a green bag called original which are just salted. We’ve also got orange which is Mexicana

Actually in the UK, the red bag doritos is chilli heatwave flavor. Nacho cheese is in a orange bag and called tangy cheese. Although most people still call it nacho cheese. And cool original in a blue bag. Why brian and nogla got this wrong is beyond me as Ireland has the same food as uk. 😀

So the Cool Original Doritos are basically the UK's version of Cool Ranch, but because ranch dressing is less common in Europe it was changed to "Cool Original" or "Cool American" in other parts of Europe. In terms of which one came first, it was Nacho Cheese in 1974 while Cool Ranch/Original was in 1986, a whole decade later. And because they don't sell the very first chips anymore, Nacho Cheese became the original by default.

Our red ones are called Cheese Supreme and our Nacho Cheese ones are yellow. Plus, we do actually have a flavour called Original lmao, they're just plain salted and they're in a green bag.
