Dear tourist, the place you have visited is a temple. holy place for Balinese Hindus to worship. Every corner is a process of worship including getting tired of walking up to the temple. All of this is a process with a deep philosophy of life. You were are also not allowed to use a motorbike, imagine that it will be complicated and disturbing if everyone is allowed to go up on their own private motorbike. It will ruin all the serenity, the purity of the temple. Even bring all the pollutants with it. U can’t say ‘after paying all of that ticket price ... etc’ you not coming to a commercial concert! It’s a Holly Spiritual Temple that Balinese Hindu respect it sooo much. They build that PURA not for Instagramable spot purpose. But for spiritual purpose.
Absolutely respect the culture and I think in our previous videos we’ve shown that we do all we can to honour and uphold the respect whatever culture we are in. However Shinta, the comments you are referring to are being described incorrectly by you. We are referring to the feature of the temple that is in fact set up to attract instagramers and this PART is in fact a tourist element of a very sacred temple. Also we seen many motorbikes up at the top as can be seen in our video and that’s our experience and opinion. We welcome your comments but please remember to take all comments in their correct contexts and not twist our outlook on a culture we love.
At the minimum promote the hotel where you are staying, to help out the Balinese people. Please respect the local rules, local culture and the people. As you know tourism is how these people live, 11.60 is not expensive that would buy you about 4 pieces of your hair extension back in your country or 2 Starbucks. You should inform yourself before going to the temples. Showing your breasts is inappropriate and disrespects the sacred temples and culture, dod you not read up on the rules before you went? did you not think about that? The whole world does not revolve around white tourists who just take from these countries with zero respect or regard for these beautiful indigenous cultures. You must be informed of where you are going and you Must respect at all times. Don't blog about the inconveniences of being stretched out of your comfort zone, stay home and blog about your own culture if you don't appreciate all that Bali has to offer.
We agree, as u can see this was a long time ago. This was our 1st time to Asia and one of the 1st time we picked up a camera. We made many mistakes but would like to think we have gotten a lot better since then. We were lucky enough to re visit Bali recently and made it our duty to understand + and learn more about the Balinese + Indonesian culture. Thank you for letting us know and keeping us humble ❤️🤗
@FinMeg I really like your response to the comment. It shows that you care and that you are indeed respectful. I was a little irritated by the comments about the rules and how you called then "weird". I understand that it is different and also something you might not agree with but language matters and there are many words that can be used "ah this is different" or "this is something I don't understand but will look it up further " etc But as you said : it's from 4 years ago so I really appreciate that you acknowledge the feedback from above.
it’s amazing how different the authentic experience is from the images portrayed on social media. thanks for showing the reality of it! we really enjoyed this video.
My husband is balinese and I still forced him to go to Lempuyang not for praying but specifically for pictures, we had to wait for 3 hours 🙈 But I love nice pictures so was worth it.
It wouldn't be Bali without the sneaking little additional costs and fees! Another great vlog guys, really enjoy the content! I hope Bali is a little busier, take care!
It lack of crowds were crazyyyyy, we really were so lucky to enjoy it in such a tranquil state 💯What part of Switzerland are you in? We are exciteddd to get there one day ✈️
@@FinMeg Central Switzerland - more precisely Lucerne. :) It is wonderful country well worth a visit. Though, it is a tad bit more expensive as Indonesia, hehe. Have a wonderful last days of 2021!
That 2-floor hotel pool looks pretty epic. Like many experiences portrayed on social media, the reality is often a bit bent to attract more attention. Anyway, the photo looks great with the little mirror trick :).
Another epic adventure and the most amazing views. You'll not forget this day ever I feel. Despite the trouble you took to get there. Wow. 🙏 🇳🇱 🙋♀️ 🇳🇿
Hmm juat shows all the bad behaviors of west tourists. No repect. its fine u dont know try to know onstead of being so judgmental. seriously if u r in Grand Canyon dont u have to just use the buses to go to Canyon or the arc bridge etc. big thumbs down
Wow wow wow thank you for sharing these beautiful facts!!! It was a beautiful temple and your right plenttyyyy of steps to go to the top of the otherside 🤣
These places are incredible. Are there ever any bugs? I think the "bus lady" is their version of a tourist trap. Answer: to get to the other side! That was quite the incredible place!!🐸
Bali over all is a very buggy place but most stick to the rice fields and jungle 👍🏼 Bus lady = tourist trap 💯💯💯 we may have fought our case a little more but we felt bad 😢
We arrived at like 9am or something it wasn’t open too long but it was pandemic times so overall they’re were less tourists about for sure! If you want any shot of getting it to yourself, we would probably recommend going for like 6 am, look at what time it opens at and be there a couple minutes before! Pros and cons 😅
Wooow..what a picture of mount agung..👍😉 but i know now, should parking and pay for 100K in parking lot and 100K per person in the gate temple..so wow for domestic tourist btw..thanks for the info guys..👍👍
What a beautiful resort ONLY $40 Euro!!! I would love to stay a month at that rate! You two are always so much fun! Another fabulous video, shhh we won’t tell mum about the tree fort! 🤣! ~Cara
Very nice video! On one hand the pictures they get with that mirror are great, but on the other hand I really don't like _way_ too touristy things like that. The view looked incredible though (without the clouds at least). I was happy to see a sunrise from Mt Batur though instead. Pretty damn magical.
Hi I’m new to your Chanel what’s the name or information to the hotel and what time was it exactly when u got to the temple???? Thanks for any information in advance
