A well-known insider for Star Wars is reporting that not only is Lucasfilm looking to recast Baylan Skoll, but they are also looking to cast someone for the role of the Mother, Abeloth. Known as the Bringer of Chaos, Abeloth is a mysterious and powerful entity whose origins trace back to the ancient history of the Star Wars universe. What could this mean for Ahsoka Season 2?

They should cast Natalie Portman as Abeloth. She is one of the few prequel stars to not make a return to SW and her being cast as Abeloth makes so much sense. It could explain how she is able to escape as it could be the fact that Anakin and Ahsoka would be blindsided if she took on the form of Padme to trick Anakin long enough for her to escape.

It's long overdue for Abeloth to make an appearance in Live Action. She's terrifying beyond belief and has more power than possibly Anakin. Abeloth is definitely the Thanos or Darksied of Star Wars. She's they ultimate threat, the one everyone must unite against to stop her. Hope they do thing in Legends, were the Jedi and Sith team up to take her down. That's how you know she's the real deal, when those 2 orders have to work together. Here's a fun fact: Abeloth considered Grandmaster Luke Skywalker a THREAT. Which is insane because her power eclipses his but he's still dangerous.

Those pictures at 2:37 and 3:37 are terrifying. It would be amazing to see Hayden, Ahsoka, and Saben battling Abeloth or even redeeming her. Star Wars is all about family, and it would be great to have the entire family restored to send a positive message about families, instead of continuing a broken family. I heard that they are looking for a 50s-60s old actor to recast for Baylan, but it would be more meaningful if Sam Witwer reprised the role of the son, as he voiced that character. I think fans would accept that younger recast change for the fan acceptance of Sam. Best, Tony.

I heard not only are they recasting Baylan, but they could be recasting another villain (perhaps the son?) -- and I think Hayden is going to have a huge role !

@@SWDemocracy I hope they don't recast the Son. Bring Sam Witwer back and make him the Son in live action. I feel like he'd be so down for that, especially if he's working with Dave.

My knowledge of Abeloth is extremely limited, but I figured from the statues that season 2 would involve her return, meaning Anakin and Ahsoka would take their Mortiss roles, with BayIon joining them, but I kind of thought Shin Hati would somehow become the vessel of Abeloth... We will see...

Shin looks a lot like Abeloth! How crushing would it be for Baylan to have dragged his apprentice to Peridea, only to have her possessed?

I think Abeloth is gonna be the main protagonist of the dave movies and Thrawn and the high republic have too team up. i think another theory is ezra is abeloth but disguised herself as ezra too flee the galaxy unnoticed
