Istarted my non-boosted account over 150 days ago and I'm still level 71 eventho I have been completing all my daily tasks every day spending all 50 core energy refreshes. It is really hard to level up and it takes little more than a week for it. I have finished dd1 and dd2 in one day because I have saved up soo much yellow and teal gear.
I would be curious to see what a day looks like on your account. At 162 days and about to hit 80 in a couple of days. I only bring this up as there may be avenues of xp you are missing out on.
@@palmertherI don't think I'm missing out on any extra xp with completing every tasks and spending all the free energy the game gives me.and If there is something I'm missing out on please tell me
@@DrAccept My first question would be are you 50 coring the ISO nodes as well? Are you letting incursion energy cap out at 120? I'm not completely sure where the difference is, but somehow I have 8 levels on you and we started at roughly the same time.
I'm really trying to figure out which is the better experience, constantly looking at game modes that are locked behind levels or unlocking content but you are too weak to fully participate. I think the later is better because it helps give you a new goal versus if everything is locked you have to in some ways make up your own goals.
Yeah its definitely better. 64 days in, have access to dd1-5 but still doing dd3. Moving on to Doom raids, can start going for Apoc, GGC, Black Cat etc. The pros far outweigh the cons
it was interesting to see what a boosted lvl 82 account look like. Once I hit 80, I'm less concerned about leveling after that, as I get access to the ISO-8 hard nodes. Non-boosted account, 162 days. 6.8 million. All raid teams, outside of skill and a couple of other toons, can do Incursion 1. Our guild launched it and I was able to auto the mutant and bio nodes. I'll probably slowly bring up invaders, sadly, as I don't see the replacement skill team coming up anytime soon. The main question for this is, is the instant gratification for levels worth the time and resources you miss out on getting to the same level? After looking at this video, I'm not sure this account is any better off than my non-boosted account at day 60. Ultimately, I need time to get my raid teams incursion 2 ready. The account needs time farming, so I don't see where the levels help me a whole lot. DD1-3 were basically day 1 completions. We'll see what DD4 looks like with newer release lvl 80 characters. The only real slowdown I'm anticipating is through legendary. It will be interesting to see what horsemen with Omega Red/Doc Oc looks like. Having said this, the new player experience has changed a lot in the last couple of months and appears that it will continue to evolve.
Thanks for the comment. You have some good points. However I must disagree that a 60 day non boosted account would be anywhere near this level, all my characters might be level 75 but they could be level 82 gear tier 15 if I invested more resources. This video is less than a week old and I can already take characters to level 85 gear tier 16 and attempt dd5. However I most definitely don't have enough resources to do that. There are pros and cons for sure but its overall a massive benefit. Im probably gonna do a video on pros and cons
@@Pr3ps-msfThere is a definite benefit on the arena side. However, once these changes are implemented across the board that will go away. Starting DD5? While that's nice, and Dorm is a great character, it's of questionable importance if you get him a month ahead of me - if that much quicker at all. I hit 8 yesterday. All the ISO-8 hard nodes are complete. Most of the Nexus hard nodes are complete. I'm at city in DD4. I'll spend the next 5 levels prepping for DD5, the uniques are now open in the store for purchase. In about 6 six weeks I'll start it. We'll see how fast I make it through, but I'll have all the teams ready to go. I started plugging in the DD5 planner and I'm only missing a few uniques (9) for a full x--treme x-men team. Cosmic is ready. I'm missing 6 uniques for City. I'm still unlocking legendaries, so we'll see what I have to take in. I can go in with the horsemen, they are all unlocked. You'll make it to 100 quicker for sure but when I get to 100 I'll have a much broader roster. In the scope of the life off the account, the boosted account probably won't see much of an advantage over the non-boosted one, if at all. All of this isn't all the important as they are starting to increase gear availability, as well as other changes coming. They'll just need to figure out how to get gold and training materials for the newer player to make sure there isn't just a glut of gear sitting on the roster, unable to be used. I'll be curious to see what this roster, you are showing, looks like at day 160.
You mention gold as the bottleneck. I’ve been playing on and off since 2021. Level 75. I have NO training mats. 46m gold. I have lots of exciting characters, can barely afford the training mats to level anybody. What am I doing wrong?
Gold is just one bottleneck. Usually training mats are a big bottleneck for most players. Make sure you are farming the nodes that have training orb fragments every day
So im level 41 on day 7. Is it a boosted account? I'm basically a new player. Was playing on release when the defenders were meta 😅 and quit playing around the time when war was about to release.
What is different from a regular account than a boosted account? I have been wondering this for a while since it seems important to have a boosted account if you start new but I have no idea what it means for your account
A boosted account is an account that receives an xp reward when they level up, meaning they level up way faster than accounts that are not boosted. Apparently about 20% of accounts are boosted, just luck of the draw
how do i know I got boosted account? I started playing about 2 weeks ago, I just finished my 14 day login calendar where I got the hivemind and xtreme xmen. now I'm commander level 56
@@Pr3ps-msf thanks, for me it's a good thing I guess...come objective reset today I will hit level 57, probably hit 65 by next week and I can do DD1, got my gears ready to take my hive mind to g12...I was thinking of buying the time heist level 80 to immediately get kestrel, but I don't have to do that with the way boosted accounts work I can get kestrel without spending edit: now that I got iso campaign unlocked it's much easier and convenient to spend cores on campaign and iso energy refreshes, adds a lot of exp and 2nd strike milestone points
I stopped playing strike force about 2 years ago when the enforcers were realased. I have come back last month to my account Would i be better off starting from scratch again or keeping my account? If starting a new account is the answer what sign should you look for that its a good boosted account? Bare in mind i would have missed the 6th anniversary on the new account
Welcome back! This is a tough question to answer. Depending on what level you are, what your tcp is, what you have accomplished in the game. I know that when I came back to the game after 2 months off I wanted to start fresh but its a personal preference thing. If you do decide to start over make sure you get a boosted account ;)
