I start with ways to quit smoking if that is an issue, avoiding work based exposures to dusts and fumes, using protective masks, being careful with "indoor" pollution, avoiding confirmed triggers, such as mold or birds (if applicable) and managing gastro-esophageal reflux (acid reflux).
