Golden Honey Mustard chicken
4 pounds of chicken pieces , about 16 thighs
(I only used 6 thighs and I found with the 6 it was enough sauce and I would want to at least double the sauce for 16 thighs.)
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup dijon mustard
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp curry powder
1 tsp salt
1 clove minced garlic (I used a tsp)
Preheat oven to 375°F season chicken with salt and pepper arrange in baking dish and bake for 45 minutes or sear on the barbeque and then bake at 375° for about 45 minutes meanwhile, in a sauce pan, melt butter and add remaining ingredients. Heat through.
Remove chicken from oven and pour sauce over. Return to oven and bake up to 30 minutes or until chicken is glazed and golden or lower heat on the barbeque and cook off the direct heat and brush with sauce frequently turning pieces as needed. Be sure not to overcook or scorch the sauce partially if barbecuing
