#askcompetishum In round 2 i selected float , because I didn't knew that float and slide selected candidates also need to pay the fees . I am already taking a drop , but just seeing what am i getting this year. Now as I already selected float , but I don't want to pay the fees . So they will automatically remove me from the councelling right???? Also , i have heard in a certain condition you won't be able to give advanced next year if you dont withdraw. Will that situation happen with me ???

The candidates who were allocated a seat in an IIT through JoSAA 2023 but (i) did not report “online” / at any “reporting centre” OR, (ii) withdrew before the last round of seat allotment, OR, (iii) had their seat cancelled (for whatever reason) before the last round of seat allotment for IITs, are eligible to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2024.

I filled up all Tier1 and tier2 NITs with Branches Mechanical, Electronics and Communication engg, Electrical engg, electrical and electronics engg, engineering physics and Civil Engineering.
