If you're looking for a perfect half-day itinerary for your visit to Little Village, Chicago, I've got you covered. In part 2 of my Chicago neighborhood series, I'm going to show you the best things to eat, see and do in Little Village - or as the locals call it "Mexico in Chicago".
The neighborhood is known for its 26th street filled with authentic Mexican restaurants, quinceanera shops, global grocery stores, and even a candy store filled with different kinds of Mexican candy and pinatas.
While Chicago travel in 2020 might be a bit different, I firmly believe there are safe ways to explore while discovering hidden gems in one of the greatest cities in America.

Heres what NOT to do in little village, dont wear black n gold or black n beige if ur not gang affiliated cause u will get mistaken for one or the other considering kings and two six run lil ville, also dont wear your hat to the right or left, would advise to stay on 26th street or busy streets dont go into any side blocks also dont go at night as more shit goes down at night, im not being a smart ass lil ville is on it fo real id be careful while there every single time

Damn you have more balls than me hanging out there. Last time i was there i got shot at and a bunch of the people i know from there are dead or in jail. So sad because i use to come out there as a kid and always wanted to move out there and i never got why my parents were always scared and on alert every time we were out in little village.But now that im older i know why now 😂. Glad you made it out ok. Love the channel definitely subscribing. Thanks for showing the beautiful side of little village and showing love to the mexican culture. I would argue that my goal is simply to shine a spotlight on our various multicultural neighborhoods in an effort to support our local Chicago-owned businesses which I would hope that you would agree is important in a time like this.
