What to do with a day in Ranong? With less than 24 hours to spend in this province, we wondered how much of it we would be able to see. Turns out there was so much to do we have to split it over two episodes!
We also came dangerously close to adopting a puppy...

anyone knows how to go ranong from hatyai ? by any bus or minivan ?

Looks like a couple of options… but without ever doing that trip ourselves I can only make a guess. I’d find a tour agent that books phantip from hat Yai to Samui, then just ask them if instead of going all the way to Samui you can stop at Surat Thani and go to Ranong instead 🤷🏻‍♀️ Hope that helps 🙏

If that doesn’t work just get any transport to Surat Thani then ask around for Ranong transfer from there. I’d be happy to spend a night in Surat Thani if needed, looked like a cool place ☺️

I'm Thai, you can go to your nearest bus station. There is a car between the provinces for sure.

I've been to Ranong more than 20 times. It is a province that is suitable for driving a motorcycle. It rains a lot here. In 1 year, it will rain for up to 8 months.

Rain in Thailand is still okay for riding! Just carry a poncho! 🙌

@@travellingsticks It rains in small intervals during normal times, but it is heavy and long during the serious rainy season. which starts in May-October I used to rent a house there for 1 year. Get used to the weather there.
