Caden is now Ryans new big brother lol its cool watching him teach him and get him up to speed. I also love how Katie and Ryan are close even though he's the youngest. This whole family is awesome. Caden seems like he's good for Katie so far.

@@thunderstrikes4631 Well, I'm a HS/college wrestling fan so I'm pretty good at guessing weight based on size/height. Ryan would definitely be in one of the lower weight classes if he wrestled.
@@suhasinitakkar4435 Well, I was only 5 pounds off if that's true. He DID grow some in height so its possible. But Katie is athletic and strong so she could easily lift that much weight. She would need to do it for cheer anyway I think.
It would have been cool if Ryan called Brennan for brotherly advice. I bet Brennan would feel good. I’m sure you talk to him how is Brennan is he homesick? I miss him and I’m pretty sure a lot of your subscribers miss him.
Ah...Brennan is probably partying every night he's not studying! Remember, in high school he was almost never home. Going to this party or that party or over to friends houses.
To ease your nerves most people naturally move their head up or down depending on whether it's respect or a known or unknown person. It happens automatically. But this was pretty entertaining to watch!
Okay, I just HAVE to ask you since you are a teacher. Is all that REALLY a thing in school today? Because if it is, things sure have changed in high school since I was there back when dinosaurs roamed the earth! LOL At least it was comforting to hear Ryan say "hey mister T." THAT we had back then! LOL
The only way to be "cool" in high school is to not act like you're cool. Literally all the cool people in high school are just naturally like that and don't have to act like they are.
The problem is that one has to follow the established high school culture regardless if you agree with it or not and woe to those who cannot master or refuse to respect said culture!! I think Mrs Thatcher (former British PM 1979-1990) was right when she advised, don’t follow the crowd let the crowd follow you!! If you can manage to do that than you are truly one of the greats!! 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
The only problem is, with my having been in school when Mrs. Thatcher was PM, none of these complicated "signals" existed. The only "culture" was what group you were considered. You know. A jock, a preppie, a nerd (which was a BAD thing back then), a flunkie, a stoner, etc. And MY generation created an environment where the WORST people led the crowd as adults. Which is why the country is in the shape it is today.
@@retroguy9494 Good point sir!! It is funny that the more diversity is shoved down our throats the more conformist high school culture becomes and not always in a good way!! As well, for the life of me I don’t understand why girls have such a coded way of greeting people!! (I.e. Katie (❤️ her) What’s with all the gestures? (nodding, complicated handshake, etc) Why not just say, good afternoon, how do you do? Personally, I would like to back to the greetings that existed in Jane Austen’s time!! Anyway, Ryan & Katie are such wonderful kids that they will fit in with just about any crowd!! Ryan, seems a little smaller compared to his peers so he may get pushed around by bigger kids!! (ex: sat on by the bigger kids especially girls) I had to learn very quickly to not smart off to bigger kids when I was a frosh!! What year did you graduate?
@@lordrobert12 Its great that you and I think along the same lines. Not many people these days believe in better manners and more etiquette. Personally, I LOVE the way teenagers and college students acted and behaved at the turn of the last century. Although even then bullying was still an issue! Personally, I believe in assimilation in order for any society to survive amongst its peers. The lack of that in America today is a major problem. Teddy Roosevelt wrote an excellent essay on it and I think it still holds just as much truth today. While I can never picture teenagers today saying "good afternoon how do you do" a simple "hey" or "what's up?" would suffice. I'd need to go to school just to be able to go to school to learn all these codes and handshakes, etc.! And yes, Ryan is a little guy, especially if you compare him to Brennan at the same age in some of their earlier vlogs. In MY day, unless he had well liked friends protecting him, he'd most likely get body slammed into a locker as a frosh! LOL Oh; I graduated in 1983.
@@retroguy9494 Well, I graduated high school in 1993 like Mrs D!! I really resent the fact that I was born into the stupidest woke era in the history of the world. A psychic once told me that I am an old soul which may mean that like Jacob Rees Mogg I was unfortunate enough to have been born 100 years too late!! As for Ryan, the bigger girls &.boys are going to wrestle him to the ground and SIT ON him and squash him and this is why he should take up jiu jitsu!! Remember that girls develop faster than boys and are bigger and heavier than teen boys most of the time!! Brennan might have prepared him well for this, however!! I really do think Katie could beat him in a wrestling match because she is so strong!! Take care!!

@@kevinpollock6017 Cool! Sounds like you know what you're doing! Honestly, I didn't do any of that so there was a lot of weekends spent writing papers last minute plus cramming for exams well into the wee hours! LOL But it turned out okay. I still managed to graduate and with honors LOL
1:00 Loooool this was and is still relevant in schools in the UK. Well it was back in my days and that was the 90s. Downward nods are very common, upwards kinda and handshakes are also still very common.
I had a feeling downwards was Respect apparently I use to do it literally all the time it came a Habit. Which I guess it became like an Experiment sorta, to see who actually accepts it. But I thought it was Interesting but Cool that it was randomly like that apparently.
Funny story, I was in 7th grade my sister was in 8th. I got in trouble for something and the librarian punished me by making me pick up trash on the floor. My sister went around ripping up little pieces of paper and tossing them around the library. I got her back years later. Had walkie talkies, going down the interstate. Back then we had to take a ticket and when we got off the interstate, we would have to pay the toll based on where we started. Well, told my sister that I would pick up her ticket and pay at the other end. Half way through, I ripped up here ticket into little pieces and told her on the walkie talkie that her ticket was coming to her. I tossed it out the window. She had to pay the toll from the farthest point because she had no ticket. We still laugh about that many years later.
Why would you even acknowledge someone you don't know? I'm a middle aged man and no teenager, but I used to try talking to people (small talk) just to be friendly like in the checkout line in the supermarket because its the way I was raised. Women would literally get a look like they ate a half dozen limes, take a step back and sometimes even say something like "excuse me..do I KNOW you?"
My high school had two floors. The senior boys used to sit on the floor and make under classmen dodge their legs. At noon a couple I knew used to make out on one of the stairwells .wonder if caden and katie will do that? .😊
Back when I was in school it was a lot simpler. Couples who were dating simply leaned against the lockers between classes and hugged and/or made out! LOL
All this just to go to high school? I couldn't keep up with all these up and down and sideways nods and dibs and dabs and secret handshakes! And HOW you talk to different people! High school was so much simpler back in the old days! LOL I did learn ONE thing. The high school (and college if they stay long enough) guys who work at my local supermarket who know me as a regular nod at me if the see me but aren't close. Some nod up and some nod down. Now I know why. The ones who nod down are simply paying me respect as an "older" customer. The ones who nod upward must feel comfortable enough with me to consider me as more than just an older customer and they are treating me more as a friend or acquaintance. Which I think is pretty awesome! I never knew all that! I guess I'm going to have to start nodding back! LOL
