Oh yes dude! Thank you for this. I honestly feel crippled at times out of fear that something I’ve made isn’t going to perform well enough, and so I don’t post.
Also, I absolutely agree with a lot of what's said in this video. External validation is awesome. It's amazing and it pumps you up, but if you can't sustain your drive, if you can't be disciplined enough to keep working when the horde doesn't approve of what you do, then maybe whatever art you're creating isn't for you! Fantastic message and something creatives everywhere need to hear.
Also, really loved the advice. I literally this week just released a video that took a lot of time and energy and isn’t performing as well as I hoped. Just moving onto the next one and focusing on trying to improve so future videos can gain that momentum! Great one Isaac!
That‘s such an american statement: „If people don‘t appreciate your work, do something else which gains appreciation.“ - But your scale shouldn‘t be the oppinion of strangers. (I know easy to say but hard to follow) In that spirit, don‘t mind me and keep putting up good content!
