My grandfather told my grandmother after 13 years of marriage that he did not want her. My grandmother went to the front door opened it; and told my grandfather " If you don't want me; I don't want you too". My grandfather walked out the door and my grandma moved on with her life and sent her 6 children to college by herself. " If they don't want you- Don't want them." Grandma was right.

That's what I heard from the lord but it's been so hard after the hurt to move on. 5 years at a church and the hate is real by the staff. Unbelievable. I was a volunteer too jezebels.

“When people make you feel unwanted, don’t leave to make them feel sad or guilty, They won’t. Leave because you No longer have a reason to stay. Sometimes you have to be strong for yourself. What is meant to be will end up good and what is not-won’t. Love is worth fighting for, but sometimes you can’t be the only one fighting. @@cheerstochow8755 yes NPD has nothing to do with people wronging others but is a pattern of behaviour of which one of the hallmarks is discard without giving the other party closure, which is the case here. In close relationships with NTP mature adults there is usually no confusion as to why a relationship has ended. Both parties are mature enough to talk things through. To ghost a person for any longer than a brief period is psychologically abusive tactic used prevalently by narcissists as punishment.

Yes. The rejection of man is the protection of God. My husband rejected me after 23 years of marriage and 3 children. He no longer speaks to me. Throughout the marriage I did him only good. I was faithful and loyal even when he was unfaithful many times. God removed me from that marriage. Thank you for this word. I’m listening Father and I will obey.

I have had people tell me they don't like me BECAUSE I am a really nice person. Something is wrong with me because I am happy all the time and that is not natural. My grandfather told my cousins that he hated me. When they told me that it really affected me for a long long time. My family has a history of saying mean things. I think I just got to a point where I said to myself that I have to get these negative people out of my life, and that’s what I did. I forgave my grandfather and other family members but I still don’t want to be around them. They are too nasty.

A big take-home message is that most people are just selfish and looking out for their own interests. They size you up and all they care about is how you will benefit them, what they can get out of you, how they will feel about themselves by how using you can make them feel. It has nothing to do with you baby, nothing to do with your looks or how good you are in bed because you are there just for their self-love. You are just an appliance to plug in and receive service of some kind from. And you know how it goes; everybody wants an upgrade of their cell phone their washer their dryer and eventually, due to no fault of your own, they've already used you a few times and they want to upgrade from you. that is harsh but when you learn the truth that people are selfish and you cannot use the look in their eyes or their expressions or behavior as your mirrored reflection as to how valuable or beautiful you are, you will be ahead of the game, the game of chess the devil has put you in. sometimes the only way to win a game is not to play it at all.

Yeah I asked out my lecturer , we are around the same age and he had nothing to say apart from no when I asked if he was single. But sometimes he d glance at me in the class and I felt some attraction. I didnt push the issue if he was married etc and simply looked at me warmly and his eyes. It was short and we talked about jobs and the course but not about feelings and when I left , when he let me go and he said he hoped I d recommend the course and let them know when I find a job. I am not saying he is selfish but who knows I dont know how he is but clearly he wants to separate his personal and professional life. I wasnt sure if he liked me anyway and I said to him I wasnt sure if he was single but I thought maybe he was (he doesnt have a wedding ring) In the end he probably is in a convenient relationship or is in love . Like you said I dont play any games, I met him at his office and he said 'Sit there ,so you want to talk about the course?' I said well are you single ? lol He wouldnt tell me his exact age and I told him my age. I try to guess his age and he would say approximately . Anyway I let it go , I told a friend about it and he told me that man doesnt have the capacity to discuss about his feelings and he is a with a woman who doenst talk about feelings either and that he does fancy me even if he is taken but he didnt say about selfishness or what you say above but I do believe there is a part of it. I told my friend I asked because I sensed some attraction from him and my friend told me that this man was attracted but he is taken and its normal even if you are taken to notice other people but he is a good man. Barely anyone asks me out and most men are taken, I sometimes , rarely ask them if I like one and its rare I like anyone and maybe its due to the fact they are mostly out there for themselves, It is also possible we aren't on the same level because I know his colleague a senior lecturer but way too old for me would be talkative and have the capacity to talk.

yeah I was attracted to him because of the look in his eyes and behaviour and even when we met the look was still there a bit and he smiled at me maybe it's all. fake , I thought it was genuine . he d smile warmly and I would too and look into his eyes. I realise now you cannot use that as a sign that they like you. Usually im good at spotting fake smiles but that man is next level, I d still sense a bit of attraction when I was looking in his eyes. crazy

Like you, I have been rejected by a few men in my life. The last one lasted 12, almost 13 years. Near the end of it all, I got cussed-out so much for simple stuff...calling to check on him, cooking him something to munch on, washing his clothes, breathing, eating, drinking, driving, thinking, and expressing my own opinion. But...one regular day...upon the occasion of that last cuss-out...I didn't even get mad nor was I upset; i simply and very gently ended the call and blocked him for life. Now...I truly THANK GOD for the changed perspective(s) that peace and quiet have brought to me. If I never experience another intimate relationship with a man in this life, I'm good...for the rest of my life.

Many times the way someone grows up and is treated by thier,"Protectors, parents", dictate which direction thier lives may take or choices they may make. This is AWESOME!! As a guy raised by a single mother, with no male role model, this is on point! I've been having to learn how to be a man, and God has been teaching me the same things he is saying! I've been rejected by most people for all my life, even my own family....my wife finally rejected me! But being on my own, is really allowing me to figure these things out! Not angry, or bitter! I'm enjoying life! Depending on God!

You may wish to consider the possibility that family of origin reject us bc we were meant to/for growth while many in the f.o.o. were/are unwilling to grow or change, mostly I think bc they perceive of change as too painful. To be sure growth is/will be painful, but given another chance to choose I would still choose pain over nothing or numbness.

Same situation here @True Love, I haven’t done anything to my maternal family members but for some reason my name stay in their mouth. With the help of Corna I was able to put distance between us this year, this has been good for me mentally, spiritually, and physically . Just goes to show you that blood ain’t thicker than water. I couldn’t believe that my FAMILY who I love dearly would betray me, stab me in the back, speak negatively on me , spread rumors like messy high school women when they’re 50+. It got so bad that my mother is not speaking to them either because she is upset that they are speaking bad of me and she told them in a not so nice way. They’re trying to butter up to my mom but shes not here for the crap. So long story short the distance has been good for me and will be good for you as well. Many blessings and happy new year 🎊🎈🎆.

I am in the same situation. I am 69 and a widow of 12 years. I have two adult children. My 44 y.o. daughter told me that she didn't have to accept my apology for my bad parenting and goes for long 2 year periods of time excluding me from her life. Currently, she is angry with me again. My 47 y.o. son calls about twice a year, but he usually likes to cut me down in a "joking" manner. He and his family travel extensively several times each year. I have asked him to come visit, but he said there is nothing to do here in my small town. The last time I saw him was 8 years ago. I needed this message. Thank you, Bishop Blakes.

Eldest died 4 yrs. ago tragically, 2nd in prison, nothing from #3 ever. I gave up n left the state. Was never been invited to just hang out, go to park, see my grandkids or a phone call. Estrangement for parents is heartbreaking and common today. My two daughters chose not to have a relationship with me. I have never looked upon this as Gods will and way of protecting me before. Although now after listening, I can see my daughters do not love and respect, cherish or value me as I do them. Although I unconditionally love them and miss them dearly, God is protecting me and guiding me forward. I pray for their wellbeing, happiness and contentment and my own guidance to help me heel and lead me in my future life. Can I share something with you Bishop/Dad Blakes?? This time last year I was really wounded after my divorce, but thanks to your ministry and others...I am so much better. Revelation: I used to wonder why the people I loved didn't value me...they couldn't see me...I felt invisible. I have learned that it's important to value myself...I need to see me. Same happened with me, left them and finally walked away 3 yrs ago, no contact, extraordinarily difficult time, many times I thought of just ending if, the smear campaigns, lies, flying monkeys harassing me on online, I had to cut of contact n block anyone who was connected to them, but I'm much happier that I left them, my narc ma, narc younger sister, narc father n enabler second sister planned it well, I was the last to know, they planned my final discard so well, it was so traumatic and incomprehensible to believe or understand such wickedness and cruelty from the ones I would have died for, the ones I worked so hard for. To top of my suffering my ex also a narc who's mask fell and was using my family situation to hurt me, I was so devastated, it was crippling pain n sadness. But there is light, Iv been alone for 3 yrs but I'm a happier person, it's been a slow and long road to healing. God wanted me to watch this as a reminder, thankful it showed up in my feed🤗

This is is true. Not necessarily as rejection but realizing that individuals may not feel for me as I do them. Once I made that connection internally I pulled back. Funny thing, sometimes when you STOP 🛑 putting energy into people they miss that energy you were putting forth. Others move on. For those who “miss” me I don’t go “back”. When you stop giving yourself to others who are not “into” you regardless to to the type of relationship it was. It creates space for others to enter. Secondly, it removes a weight of trying to hold onto a friendship or relationship that is or was one sided. Mommy told me don’t “love” nobody that don’t love you.

This was the most profound teaching I should have heard decades ago. Rejection is just God redirecting us in a new direction if we allow it. Being where you're wanted and not tolerated. This statement means so much to me because after hearing it, I now know the difference. I have played this for myself over and over and I am going to put it into practice. Growing up my mother always told me that just because someone smiles at you, it doesn't mean they're your friend. Sometimes the people closest to you, are only taking a front row seat to watch you closer and hope that you fail and when they do, some will actually show you how happy they are they watched you fail, while others secretly dance in delight. Be careful who you help and let into your life. Most people will only pretend to love you because their need is that great. An addict will say anything in order to get his fix.
