What to do When Receiving Bare Root Berry Plants 

Thanks my homestead group is looking forward to receiving our blueberry plants!

I'm in Idaho. Have had a hard time with growing blueberries. Great video 👍

Thankyou for the video..I just bought blueberries and rasberry bushes from Walmart..I put everyone in pots..the blueberries are growing leaves, the raspberries haven't started yet..we got a cold snap with wind in central Virginia,so I put everyone in the greenhouse..be safe and Blessed 🙏🙏

I know this is an older video but was wondering after you bed plants down do you go through the same process when you re-pot it?

I will be placing the blueberries in 1 gallon pots - do you recommend planting in the fall or spring into the ground when they have matured enough?

At what temp can you bring them outside if they are budding?

Got info. FYI: Record at higher volume because we can always turn volume down on our end either on YT or the machine it's on. Not blasting loud of course, but higher than this. When both of those volumes are maxed out ,on our end a low recording can't be helped. I had to hold the speaker higher by jackknifing the laptop to hear you. (ACER has their speakers under the touchpad edge, so it's hard to hear in the best of circumstances. But a low recording makes it worse because there's nothing we can do about it. :D )

If in potting raspberries indoor is it still bad to use potting soil?

You dont have to worry about frost?? shouldn't you keep inside till risk of frost is gone?

I just planted my bate root and cut my raspberries and blue berries down to 2 inches above ground level. Is that OK? There was green leaves on it...

Are the plants affected by being in the same bag
