I think this is the longest time your channel has gone without you doing some sort of major boat project. You guy’s have paid the price to be where you are now. Good on ya.
I Have to say Bonita looks so much healthy since her surgery and she seems happier and we all no when momma is happy everybody is happy. God bless you and the family
Hey there, amazing sailors! 😄 It's absolutely incredible to see you facing something as intense as a waterspout at sea and being able to come out the other side stronger and more experienced. You two have truly paid your dues and it's inspiring to witness your growth over the course of this incredible journey. Keep on sharing these amazing experiences with us, and thank you for bringing us along on these unforgettable voyages! Fair winds and sunny skies as always! 🌊⛵️
I really liked this episode. At sea rather than land. I live on land. It's the ocean passages that interest me both. Of course we love the three of you and it's fun watching LuLa learning to swim. Shel'll be checking the anchor soon.
Burp 😂 good one! Gr8 to see bubba enjoying the places so much doesnt want to go.. growing into a a natural water baby. Its so important on a boat or by the beach.
your last three episodes have been GREAT! Good One AGAIN! Great spearing to feed the family... great sailing on a beautiful boat! The kids look happy and having fun. Thanks for sharing the adventures.
That boat...wow. As you get more familiar with her and learn what she likes I can see the change in both of ya. Your comfort zones are growing. Flying that big A-Sim...could almost feel it power up here in the Sierra Nevada, USA. What a video.
I know how Tallula feels leaving a place like that! Just beautiful and so much fun for all. Nice fish Yosh! Lots of good eating right there! What is best about this video is that everyone is having fun and lots of it! You guys have paid your dues and this is the reward! Nice!👍😊❤️❤️
I believe the A beads go around your furler. A down haul from the tack to the deck would allow you to flatten the luff, bring draft forward and allow you sail higher. Chat to the sail maker about it.
Love the content where you show the technical aspects of sailing, the results and the reasons for your decisions as you learn more about sailing Nandji II. It helps me as I try to get my head round improving sailing techniques on my own boat. Thanks!
Imagine if your younger selves could have peeked in the future to see where you are now, a day like that makes all those hard times and lessons learned worth it 👍
Nice sized fish you got and flying the spinnaker for the first time an episode without a break down good to see everyone looking good and enjoying life.
I really love you guys. I have been following you for a year. But have not commented much. But I think you're an honest player. Pease and love to you.🎼🎶🎵🌊🌬️🤙
Besides helping with jibing it acts a little like a Spinnaker pole in that it keeps the tack in front of the boat even when you ease the tack line to let the Spinnaker clew out and the sail pulls. Very useful -- an older version of the ATN Taker that sells at defender. I use one on our Hudson Force 50 - great for overnight passages with Asymmetrical @@FrothLyfeSailingNandji
Great fish! Hey guys...when you use Lemon Grass...pound the stalks and then cut them up, it releases the natural oils and flavor. Love to watch the fishing!
That kite reminds me of the 2001 NRL Grand Final. Parra (Blue and Gold) V Newcastle (Blue and Red). Newcastle finished on top as they are on that sail. Ben Kennedy was the main differentiating factor of the result of that game (a Newcastle player) and I say that as a Parra supporter. Call it Ben if you like. Merry Christmas. Cheers.
Yosh, you diving in remote places by yourself with the dingy away from Nanji. If you got into trouble can Bonita handle Nanji by herself to come get you? If you were injured do you have a good medical kit? What thoughts and planning/ training have you guys done just in case……..you are a very long way from help
I know diving solo is not ideal, I use my watch and limit dive times and depths and are very strict with this. We carry a HUGE medical kit and yes, Bonita can maneuver Nandji II as good as anyone!!
Hey guys happy Xmas hopefully the stork will come with Santa this year. Don't sweat it you will get your wish when the time is right Bon. Fair winds much love.😊
I had read about a diving resort that served coconut crab as a special meal. I'm back watching this again, that's an asymmetrical spinnaker , right ? OH,you said that, duh !
So what is the water spout? 😮 dangers etc? Loved your catch. I h8 sering so many fishing in thailand vietnam indo with so many little tiny fish so desperste to feed there family theyre wiping out the fish it seems especially with nets. Spearing does appear to be to the best when possible. Great catch 😊
The water spout Is like a mini hurricane, given he's off the coast of Sumatra it's probably spinning the same way as a hurricane, if he was further south (in the southern hemisphere) they spin the other way like a mini cyclone. They have strong winds and suck a lot of water up from the ocean so if they hit the sails the water at those winds speeds can tear the sails to shreds. Yoshi was wise to bring the sail in.
Great Episode 🐠🤿🎣 About weighing the fish 🐟 next time cut the fish in half and then weight it again 🦘🦘 Merry Christmas to your wonderful family 🎅 and have an amazing 2024 .🌺🌸🐬💖🦋🍹🍹🦐🦞🦀🦑
Great spear fishing that a big one 2 adults 1 child equals 1 week of food oh and the dog so 4 days of food. Spinnaker out looked good and seemed to sail fine. I guess you'll need to do some tweaking so as to set sail properly. And a very good, filmed video. Catch you next video!
Hi Guys, thank you once again for a wonderful video,, merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all, Cliff from Logan City Queensland Australia 🇦🇺🧑🏾🦽
Sailors that sail avoiding the motor is the purpose, & less pollution h8 summer where all can smell is fuel in the bay overpowering the beautiful salty air
