With an extended stopover in Doha, Qatar, I visited the National Museum of Qatar, the Souq Waqif marketplace, and the Museum of Islamic Art. Then I headed across the city to do a bit of shopping in the Villaggio Mall and go up inside the Torch Tower. All in all it was a fantastic quick self guided tour of Doha.

Book a Layover tour ! Which I did during my 8 hours layover in Doha, It was private tour only me and guide Great experience!

Are you a US Citizen? From my research, you will need to go thru immigration as usual but no visa is needed for US Citizen. Correct?

As an American, visa upon arrival was the simplest option available to me.

I liked the National Museum of Qatar more than the Islamic Museum. There was so much more history and culture and more about life in the desert!
