What to do with Activate Key Prompt for Ubisoft+ Games on GeForceNOW!

What I just did that fixed it was in GFN you click on the game, and on the top of the little pop down it show Ubisoft and it shows steam. Click steam then launch the game. Worked perfect for me

idk if this is your issue but if you bought the game through epic games or steam then you have to login through that platform on gfn

I have been clicking on steam to play on GFN yet the ubi still pops up asking for activation

since you bought it through a third party software you have to login through that software but since you bought it on xbox you cant really play it on gfn

Yea same I also play on MacBook but you have to download Ubisoft connect to get the code for it and the problem is MacBook players like me are not allowed to download Ubisoft connect

Hey @GreenTaco. When you added Far Cry 5 to your GFN library, Did you select the Epic Games version? It's worth double checking as for Far Cry 5, there's option for Epic, Steam and Ubisoft Connect. Hope that helps. Let us know 😊

Where are you trying to add the game to your library? In GFN or Ubisoft Connect?

Have you connected your Ubisoft account to your GFN app? If you connect in there you will be able to sync your library

Do you have in your Unisoft and GFN Library? Try using the new Get button in the GeForce NOW App.

That’s the beauty of it, provided it’s in your Ubisoft library and your GFN library, you don’t actually need an activation code.

Hey @SLATT. Usually with Steam there is a key pop up that gives you the option to copy to clipboard if a key needs to be input. Is it the Ubisoft Key entry screen that's coming up?

@@namramkr6813 I see, it sounds like something that could take ages to solve. I wonder whether it’s a geforcenow issue or the problem is at the source with Ubisoft. If the former were to be the case, then regular pc users should be able to start the game through steam without any problem. Unless the problem is at both ends lol

@@leonardolazzari6658 its geforce now issue cuz when i downloaded game manually in my pc it opened without asking activation code, and when im launching ac unity from steam in geforce now, ubisoft asks activation code, i think that ubisoft cant see ac unity license in steam when geforce now blocks 90% of the geforce now pc and you cant go in files, it will not appear.

What part isn’t working for you? We wouldn’t have been able to make the video without it working. The other alternative now that NVIDIA have places updates to GFN app, you can sync your Ubisoft library
