Iam glad that you are alive and well! I would never have chemo, see my later comment. Fuck those doctors; they just want your money! Most nurses are out on a power trip!
This is just superb, I have been researching "treatment for lupus flare" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Denmelia Jansabella Builder - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now )? It is a good exclusive product for discovering how to treat lupus without the headache. Ive heard some great things about it and my neighbour got amazing success with it.
I start my chemo in 4 days. I get my port installed the day before. As for being scared, this reminds me of getting my wisdom teeth out 40 years ago. Get informed, and know that for the vast majority of people everything goes exactly as planned. So some nervousness, but also eager to have it completed.
Thank you so very much, my husband is going to receive an infusion treatment and we had absolutely no knowledge of what will take place. Your film is very informative and we learned much from it, and it has helped us understand what is going to take place. Thank you again.
My infusion center is very intimate with all the decorations and fun crafts that all the patients have donated. During Holidays it is alive with all the Themes! Very sweet, especially all the goodies!
Hardest part of treatment was where I live Covid protocol meant I had to go to all appointments alone I was greatful for the incredible nurses at Kootenay Lake Hospital
I have my blood drawn two days before the infusion. Other than an infection after the surgery my chemo has gone well. I have a Bard Power port.. I like how you do everything a little different than mine but you are probably a far superior place. :-) I have Kaiser Permanente and I have had a good experience so far. But if I need a second opinion it will you I contact. Thank goodness for those pre meds. I have had little nausea. This is a great video even if the place you go to isn't Dana Farber
So how did it go for you, hopefully not as bad as you imagined,I am currently on 5/6 rounds and apart from fatigue and headaches no real major issues, good luck with your treatment trying times for all sufferers and families.
As a nurse, what would they do if we start to develop a reaction? Would they contact a doctor or are standby meds already ordered to give incase of a reaction?
@@chixbleau7321 chemo is going ok, it's the intense pain that hits me about 48 hours after treatment that makes me not wanna go back, but I have 1 more treatment before CT scan and Drs exam to find out if tumor shrinks or not, if it has, surgery to remove it then 3 more rounds of chemotherapy
I agree I'm in UK we do get good treatment but wwe can't sleep until 12 because they are taking blood or putting 10 hour drips on and then they wake you up at 5 thirty for obs
@@wumao6797 The IV pole has wheels, you just unplug and walk to the bathroom, unless there is a lack of mobility, then by wheelchair, someone can assist. :)
I AM HAVING ANTIBIOTICS INFUSION TO RID OF THE URINARY INFECTION THAT PILLS ARE NOT WORKING. I JUST GETTING WORRIED ABOUT SIDE EFFECTS AND THE TIME THAT IT TAKES TO DO THIS!
@@traceyszostek8637 this mite sound a silly ? so please look past my stupidity.....where does the the iron come from? is it a blood transfusion with red cells removed?
@@allyouneedtoknowanonymous7558 Iron infusions are done with a drug called ferric carboxymaltose. It's an iron supplement simlar to the kind you can take in pill form. The infusion(I.V.) method gets absorbed into the body easier than pill form, so for those with severe iron anemia, it's often the best way to treat it. Not all anemic people are low on iron though, & like me, need actual blood transfusions from time to time. In that case, the frequent transfusions can cause a build-up of excess iron, which is very harmful the heart. In that case, the person must take a medication to take the extra iron out. The iron will bind to this medication & you just poop💩it out. I have a type of blood cancer called Myelodysplastic Syndrome, & part of how the disease affects me is having severe anemia. I hope my reply was helpful to you.
To death! I start my journey this Tuesday. Was diagnosed with rectal cancer. I'm just 46... 47 in a few days and cancer doesn't discriminate. Being optimistic thou. Praying for us all.

👋🏼👍🏼yes I would be lying if I said that wasn't feeling scared. I'm getting ready for a double mastectomy in a few weeks, followed by chemo. Praying for everyone else that we all will be victorious in this fight!!! 🙏🏽💪🏽💙🤗

Iron infusions bring a plethora of parasites into the body! Parasites are the number one cause of all illness in the body - cncr included. So these infusions are making everyone worse! The medical system is a damn scam
