very good video. I've been a therapist for 12 + years and it's not uncommon for a client to say something like, " I don't need the draping..." or " You can do whatever you want (with the draping)or they may some say, " I don't have any boundaries..." Draping is also important to keep the client warm throughout the session..and that is what I usually come back with. But sometimes clients try to "push the envelope." I'd like to see a follow up video here that addresses scenarios when clients are trying to test your boundaries with draping and when more direct communication with the client is needed.

Interesting perspective. I don't need the draping for my benefit, but I can imagine that some therapists would prefer to work on draped clients. I've never been where it was too cold to go without. I can imagine some clients push the envelope hoping for sexual gratification in some form. That is not me. I perceive a rather sharp line between affection and sexual touch, and I am not there for sex. One time, a therapist started to cross the line and made me uncomfortable, but more often, the opposite happens. The therapist drapes and avoids the erogenous zones so much that I feel discomfort by proxy, not to mention rejected. How can I communicate this to therapists?

Thank you for showing the simple leg drape. The one I learned at school (and stopped using as soon as I graduated) was so complicated and not conducive to relaxation.

If you are under 18, you'll probably need a parent to complete a consent form. Some massage therapists do not work on people under 18 or children, so it can depend on the therapist and their training.

I always feel weird asking the woman to focus on my upper thighs and butt. Those areas are always the most sore due to doing alot of leg and butt work outs. But they are always very nice about it and usually do a good job making me not feel weird about it.

Yes, you're allowed to get a massage. Since you're 18 and under, a legal guardian must be present and you have to keep your under garments on at all times.
