I'm glad to see SWtOR still chugging along with their new developers. Dunno if I ever get around to it, but one day I'd like to go back and do the vanilla storylines with the updated graphics. Thx very much for the news!
I do appreciate some of them bringing in content vs. what people think about them being in maintenance mode. Dark vs Light bosses seem really cool for group content. Dark vs Light token rewards also look pretty cool too!
90% of my brain😀 remaining 10%... "Damn now i got to run throu all my armors, to check which leg piece will look best with this armor" This style of legpieces always stings me in the eye (ofcourse it can work but you need very thick looking armor and boots with very high knee pads)
Have my sub swtorista. I know its only one sub, but ive been watching your stuff for so long now, and its always pleasant and insightful to view. Ive played with super long breaks since swtors launch (lost my old acc sadly) and you get me back into the game almost every time.
I am currently into some money issues so I was force to end my SWTOR subscription after years of being active. It pains me a lot cause this is a game dear to me but I am watching your content and eagerly waiting to return.
I have a feeling that in next 7.X patches we will visit Korriban and Tython. Why I think so? Because lately we visited Trooper/Smuggler and Bounty Hunter/Imperial Agent starting zones. So now it is time for Jedi/Sith planets :)
Were those books ever considered canon? I liked them but they felt very out of place tonally. And I don't think SWTOR would do them justice with the limitations of being rated T.

11:00 FINALLY. It's almost like people want to play the content they like, and gear you need to be able to thrive in harder content shouldn't only drop from specific types of harder content 😑 I know how MMO gearing works, I love this game, I'm not trying to be negative... I'm just tired of playing just to grind gear, not how it used to be, where it only took a few days to gear up and then you could just play. I miss ilevel 208 days, pvp/expertise gear in particular.
Just a note for anyone that is really shy or does not want to deal with the system too much, you can spin up your own Twitch stream (plenty of guides out there to link OBS), enable drops on it (you do not need to be a partner or anything special), and just watch yourself in a second monitor (or the background) on mute and it will count. Then you do not have to find anyone else to watch when you want to... just watch when you want, even if it is the title screen as you are eating dinner, doing chores, or whatever else. Still looking forward to Jaesa and Nadia date nights... only two girls I ever cared for in the game. >.>
I just hope that this patch does awesome with everything in SWTOR and fixes up some bugs as well from previous expansions. The story of SWTOR is still amazing and I can’t wait to see what happens next and if the next date night will be Kira and Ashara.
I wish they would allow us to have the xp armor we have in our collections so if we are leveling 2 chars at a time we don't have to use the legacy bank to transfer them.
BEWARE DYE'S IN [Master The Fight Bundle], unlike sesonal dye's those Dyes from Bundle can't be stacked and they are delivered in 2 boxes which you can't be moved to Legacy Cargo after being opened. So don't open unless you plan to use few on spot since you will waste a lot of slots in cargo
The new imperial armor looks pretty much like something that is already available ingame. I bought it years ago for my main char and her Vette. You get it from a vendor on the Makeb orbital station if I´m not completely mistaken and in vanilla it´s white. But with a black/dark gray dye, it´s very close to what you´ve shown in the video.
If this game got a complete revamp, holy shit it would be the best selling (Assuming it wouldn't be free) starwars game of all time. Probably very very expensive to make tho. Imagine if we had Elden Ring customization for our characters? What if it had more RPG like the mmorpg combat? How about the blasters and gun shooting, that would be epic. Maybe it could be like battlefront 2 or something.
For the vision's weapons, I'm actually kinda sad that they didn't give us the sheaves that they have in visions. I thought those were a really cool idea in the visions series, and he would have been really neat to have us actually pull the Lightsabers out of them and have them Ignite
Maybe the community here can answer. I used to hm raid. Is gearing as streamlined as it was in 6.0? I am debating coming back, but I am solo player except on raid nights. 6.0 really worked for me. I left the game because 7.0 gearing was convoluted. Anyhow, where is the game at?

As much as I love swtor, i wont be back till they do a complete art overhual. The game reminds me to much of Jimmy Newtron art models. They just need to do a complete remake on UE5 or some modern game engine.
Is this worth playing in 2024? I'm new to pc gaming and I just got a pretty badass gaming laptop. I absolutely LOVED Kotor but I never got around to playing this. Is it worth it?
Also is it still okay to start fresh, I was reading about the class changes and speccing, but will I just be doing starter stuff like a single player game?
Is there any way to know if you chose Jaesa or Vette in the class romance so that I don't waste time completing the expansions only to find out I chose Jaesa?

PSA: The dyes in the master the fight bundle are HORRIBLE. They are "metallic" red, not to be confused with the "pearlescent" red dyes on the cartel market. They do NOT look metallic at all and are an ugly shade of maroonish-pink depending on the armor, and they don't have the same shine/reflection. I have only found a very limited number of armor sets they look decent on. Do not factor them in when deciding if you want the bundle or not.
They really ought to finally update the character models. The quality difference between new characters like Sahar and the player shows how outdated they are and the eyes clipping and the horrible facial expressions ruin half the dialogues, there's no excuse that these bugs are still in the game 8 years after they attempted to update the face animations.
Um no, that is not the only imperial trooper armour, there is the Imperial Makeb assault armour set you can get on Makeb, which this new black armour is just a reskin of.
Yes and no. They're two different variations on the standard Imperial Trooper armor, with differing undersuits and over-wear. It's the same difference as the Republic Trooper gear you can find which all share similar models- it's the small tweaks that matter.
When I first heard about SWTOR I was hoping & eventually wishing the game would be released on the Xbox 360 but it never did even though there were hundreds if not thousands wanted the game on that console.
