Thank You for your question. From what I understand, it’s a fern grown in the Eastern Hemisphere primarily? It’s very high in crude protein and has many essential minerals. I believe it can be fed to all ruminating animals successfully
Most definitely. I buy a mix grown 2 miles away at my sister’s farm. I feed out a little more in the cold to give them energy, a snack of it all summer to keep them coming to my voice, and a bit more in the Fall before Freezer Camp. I’ll talk more about it in Part 2. Thank You for your question!
Yes. I feed a corn/oat mixture locally grown and milled on my sister’s farm. Just be careful not to over feed corn as it can cause bloat. Thank You for watching 😊
@@LedgemereHeritageFarm that's a no 😄, why they need hay? Getting fiber from the straw and energy+protein from the corn, getting all their vitamins from these + from the block and sun. So why hay? I'm interested to know.
