But I will have to do more research on that to see if that is still the case

I just got to the part where you spoke of flying near an airport. LAANC section 44809 allows for airspace clearance at a defined altitude by part 49 pilots. A recreational pilot can use LAANC to request airspace. Aproval is automatic if you select all the correct preflight criteria. This is accomplished digitally through kitty hawk on you're pc, phone or tablet.
@AaronSpieler
@AaronSpieler 3 года назад
I am aware of what you are talking about, but I am not familar with it since I have not had the need to fly in controlled airspace yet. I have seen the option to do it through Airmap which is my go to airspace app, but I have not used it. I also use the B4U fly app which is powered by Kitty Hawk. But most of the time I just read sectional charts and fly in Golf airspace. After you saying this though, I might have to give this process a try to see how it goes.

Not all bad news. The LAANC system makes it very easy to get instant clearance to fly in a lot of controlled air spaces. The changes to regulations allows night flying, even in some controlled Airspace as long as certain rules are followed. The TRUST test is very easy. The new on-line recurring training for Part 107 Pilots is free. No need to pay another $200 for testing. The Remote ID requirements do not immediately go in affect. Time for the FAA to change the requirement, or just scrap it.

I got a MA2 for christmas, I've flown it only 6 times when I go mountain biking and watch the videos with my family, I don't publish them at all and I don't even have a RU-vid channel lol😂 . Did I make a $1500+ mistake ordering a Autel Robotics EVO II? It's supposed to arrive tomorrow and has already been shipped! I've been reading every law and bylaw for drone operation in my location. I totally missed this remote ID law somehow. I'm going to be getting my Part 107 license because I want to make $$$ flying sUAS for a career. I'll also register my drone with the FAA as soon as it arrives and before first flight. Just hope my ambition to become a career drone pilot isn't deflated due to bad timing on my part. Thank you for the info and the time explaining the situation
@AaronSpieler
@AaronSpieler 3 года назад
Let me just say that you did NOT make a mistake. If you register your drone, you can fly as a hobbyist. If you get your part 107, you can fly commercially. The only downside that you will potentially find yourself in at this point will be not having standard remote ID built into the drone. Even then, it is still somewhat unclear on how this will all work and I am sure that by September of 2023 things will be much more clear. You might end up having to purchase a broadcast module in order to comply with remote ID, but that will work fine. Also, you may be in the market for a new drone by then anyways, so I wouldn't fret too much right now. Enjoy your purchase, get your license, and keep up with the ever changing rules and laws so that you know what is happening.

@AaronSpieler
@AaronSpieler 3 года назад
I know it may seem discouraging and there are certainly a ton of things to learn. With that said, if you are serious about flying then get your part 107. Not only does this make your flights legal, but it also will teach you a lot of about airspace and flying in general. I took a course through a site called remotepilot101.com and i have passed my knowledge test twice. Granted, I fly for my film business and this is all out of necessity for me, but I was doing all of that way before I was flying commercially anyways. You do need to figure out how much you want to put into it, but don't give up! It is not a bad activity to be apart of!
@GrayWolfe-34
@GrayWolfe-34 2 года назад
I just want to make sure you’re legal but you might want to get a scale that can weigh 250 g. The only one that we weighed that’s under the 250 g is the DJI mini 2. Even the DJI mini 1 weighed over the 250 g because of the battery. If you put a DJI mini 2 battery in there weighs less than 250 g. Even the mavic 2 weighs over, like I said the only one that we weighed and Weighed under 250 g is the DJI mini 2. Please don’t take my word watch some videos do your homework I’m just letting you know what we found.
@AaronSpieler
@AaronSpieler 2 года назад
You make a good point because the FAA does use the verbiage "takeoff weight". But this still leads to confusion because if you have the Mini 2 that DJI lists as being 249 grams, then you don't need to register the drone if you are flying as a hobbyist. But if you add a payload or your physical drone somehow weights 251 grams on a scale, are you required to register it? Then we get into people that build their own drones and that means they have to weigh it and be honest about the weight and all that. The point I am making is that if you buy a drone from a company, then I think the FAA only cares about what the manufacturer states as the weight. Ultimately, register your drone no matter what. It is 5 bucks and good for 3 years. And if you ever want to fly it under part 107 then you are good. Just another area of frustration for people who want to do the right thing and yet find mixed ideas and information due to vague documentation.

They have many areas of concern about drones. They can be used to take C4 explosives to do big damage. Of course the criminals are unlikely to comply. They have drone jammers they use to protect an area of immediate concern. And the bad guys can probably change frequencies. In the end our ever improving tech causes massive headaches because it puts too much power in the wrong hands. Carl Sagan warned that tech might advance faster than we develop ourselves ... worries me! BTW, your presentation is the perfect knowledge upgrade for me, well done.
@AaronSpieler
@AaronSpieler 3 года назад
Unfortunately I believe you are right. Laws and rules are put in place to help keep society on the same page. Obviously not everyone agrees with certain laws no matter what they are about. But as you pointed out, the irony is with people committing criminal acts because the law is not something they plan to follow in the first place. So law abiding citizens get screwed and criminals do what they want anyways. In the end, we have to worry about ourselves and do what we can to do the right thing. I am glad you found the video useful! Thanks for leaving a comment.

When I hear the word "module", I think of a larger piece of hardware. But hopefully you are right and it is a small beacon of some sort that gets the job done. I am still rocking the OG Mavic Air and I am holding off until I know the drone has standard RID before I upgrade. My next drone will be an FPV as well because it will suit my work requirements better, but everyone has different goals for their drones. Personally, if you are going to fly recreational, I think holding out for standard RID will be worth it. No point in buying a drone now only to have to modify it within the next year. But that is just my two cents. Blue skies and happy flying!

I made it to the end and it clarifies some of the "30 second news" spots. I use a drone to observe farm and ranch land. Due to wind a small drone won't work so most likely my drone hobby has an end date. I'm in Texas and we have restrictive drone laws. Technically it is illegal to use a drone to conduct a wildlife census on your on land. The legal "overkill" is succeeding.

I made it to the end bc it is important info to know. I just bought a drone but I’m going to return it if I can. I don’t want to deal with stress of potentially incurring thousands of dollars in fines if you make a simple mistake. It sounds like the FAA is trying to drum recreational flyers out of the industry.
@AaronSpieler
@AaronSpieler 3 года назад
If we were to jump 5 years into the future, I think "flying for fun" will still exist. Here is why. The FAA wants all drones to have Remote ID, most likely with session ID. This is no doubt driven by companies like Amazon that want drone fleets for their business plans. I know that doesn't sound good and it is definitely a concern for all of us, but I think we will be OK. Remote ID is essentially a license plate for your drone, granted it does give more info than a license plate. But according to the FAA website, that info will only be available to law enforcement. Granted, I know people believe that "drone vigilantes" will be able to do the same thing, but that is yet to be determined. But I digress. If all drones in flight have remote ID that is broadcasting a session ID, then you are good to go. "Flying for fun" will go away because of needing a part 107 way before remote ID ruins it. People like the idea of going to buy a drone and flying it where they want with no restrictions. Then they get upset when there are restrictions and claim it is infringing on their rights. If so, I expect all these people outside of the DMV with signs demanding the removal or vehicle registrations and driver licenses. My point is, putting a flying object in the air is a responsible decision, no matter how small the drone is or how high you fly it. For professionals like me, these changes are a good thing. For the hobbyist, get your license so you can enjoy all the same advantages. Doesn't hurt to learn more about the activity that you are doing. But if in the end you don't want to deal with it, then don't deal with it. No one is requiring you to fly a drone. I am not directing that towards you, just a general statement. I just wish more people took your approach towards it. I'll stop ranting though, thanks for your feedback. Where is your production based out of just out of curiosity? Hope things are going well!

Informative video. Although, I always have to laugh when people state that address, full name, etc. isn't "particularly sensitive information"; ever heard of doxing? SWATing? Sure you can get that information through other means and it's good that the FAA seems to have clarified that issue a bit, but it's also not something to write off lightly.

I have never heard of either those actually, but I just looked them up and that does seem like a problem. The reason that I say it isn't particularly sensitive info is because we put that kind of info all over the internet voluntarily anyways. So I'm sure RID will have its problems, but personally I am not that concerned about this issue. But I may live to regret saying that. I appreciate your feedback!

This is true. Even my Mavic air that is several years old at this point also has that setting. The issue is that the FAA hasn't said what "protocol" will be used for Remote ID. Essentially meaning that it is possible that the Remote ID that DJI has put into their drones may not comply with the way the FAA ends up setting it up. While this is unlikely due to DJI's popularity, it is still a possibility. So lets hope that they end up including all these DJI drones in their RID protocol.

Most drone manufacturers haven't begun to install remote id yet. The manufacturers of the price point you are coming in at likely will go out of business rather than comply unless the remote id transmitter is ridiculously cost effective to incorporate into their drones. This is another reason remote id will put a severe damper on the hobbyist drone market. People like yourself who just want to get their feet wet won't because the entry-level price point will likely increase because competitors to the bigger manufacturers will no longer exist & the bigger companies will make the cost of entry beneficial to their bottom line.

As far as I know, there are no drones that have it installed yet. There is some debate online about whether or not DJI already has standard remote ID already installed. This is because in the menu system of the drone app, there is a section about remote ID. There are also rumors that DJI started implementing remote ID years ago in hopes that the FAA would pick their proprietary remote ID broadcasting system. If there was one drone company that could make that happen, it would be DJI. With all that said, I can not recommend any drones personally since I have not actually used anything other than DJI, but if you want to go under $200, you will probably have to look at some of the much smaller companies. Now, with this remote drone id stuff, I was wondering if you had any idea how this might be accomplished because I was getting ready to buy a drone (doing research)? Is it something that can be done with a firmware update you think? Do you think that you each manufacturer will sell something that you will be able to attach to your drone? Is there something else that could be done with this remote id stuff?
@AaronSpieler
@AaronSpieler 3 года назад
Glad you liked it! I will do my best to answer your questions. As far as the test goes, it is actually free now. Every two years you have to do online training that the FAA provides free of charge. Sure, the cost was frustrating before. But for most commercial pilots that are making money off of their part 107, it was a small price to pay even if it was just out of greed from the FAA. But like I said, that isn't a thing anymore. Now, as far as which drones have standard remote ID, my understanding is that none of them do. There are some theories online that DJI has been implementing their own proprietary RID for some time now so that when the FAA does implement it then DJI can just "turn" it on in a firmware update like you said. But would old drones be included? Who knows. I would imagine that the companies will sell their own broadcast modules, but I also bet that third party companies will start making cheaper ones. There are still lots of unknowns here which makes purchasing a drone right now even more difficult. I have been trying to hold off myself, but I am having an increasing demand to upgrade for my film business. So we will see. I hope this was helpful. Feel free to ask any other questions!

If I am flying my Cessna around for fun, someone with bino's could definitely see the N number if they really tried. Or when at an airport as well. With drones, you would never be able to see any kind of physical identifier while in flight. Otherwise the drone is with you or crashed somewhere. Hence why remote ID is broadcasted and not a visible trait. Unless I am missing something in which case please let me know. I want to learn as much about this as I can!
@bikentrike
@bikentrike 3 года назад
@@AaronSpieler You are absolutely right about your take on the N number comparison. However, you may have answered your own question in that since a drone can't be identified visually, like an airplane, the FAA has come up with a way to do it electronically. It's actually not all that far away from where general aviation is headed, now that ADSB is is required in certain airspace. It's not a far jump to see that the FAA is going to require ADSB in private aircraft in more and more airspace. I also think we'll see more and more regulation as the drone population continues to climb. The one bright side is that, since the under 250g arena is somewhat unregulated (at this time), we'll see a tremendous growth in technology in that area.
@AaronSpieler
@AaronSpieler 3 года назад
@@bikentrike I would suppose that just like with an N number or even your license plate on a car, if you aren't breaking any laws then you have nothing to sweat. Now I understand that this isn't always the case, but at least that is how it is supposed to be. Your average licensed driver isn't crying foul over having to display their license plate. Pilots don't throw tantrums over having to show their N number. So why are licensed drone pilots freaking out over remote ID. I believe it is because a lot of people don't like following drone laws. They just want to fly wherever and whenever they want with no regard to the law. So now that something is being introduced that will impact their ability to do that, they are getting pissed. As far as privacy goes, the FAA has said that your session ID being broadcasted through standard remote ID will only be readable by law enforcement and the FAA. I can understand why people don't believe this and are skeptical, but that is what the black and white says right now. Everyone is allowed to have their opinions and vent their concerns, but I just don't see things the same way. I feel like it is just like anything else in life. You don't have to drive a car, you don't have to fly a plane, you don't have to carry a gun, you don't have to a lawyer, your don't have to be a plumber, you don't have to be a drone pilot. When people decide to get into a craft or profession, usually there is a whole world of things happening that anyone on the outside won't know. So if someone doesn't like the rules, then don't fly a drone. Pretty simple. Now, the one point of contention that I DO completely understand is the feeling that a lot of these changes are being driven by Amazon and the like so that they can ultimately make more money. So people feel screwed over unnecessarily because rich people want to get richer and they just want to enjoy flying. But once again, this happens in so many areas of life and we all have to decide how we want to interact with it on our own. Lastly, (sorry for the lengthy reply) the sub 250 gram category of drones only has an advantage for non commercial flights. If a mini is being used for commercial operations then it has to be registered and therefore is subject to part 89. Just recently realized that that was the case which is a bummer.

I'm thinking of a DJI Air 2S. Does DJI force updates onto the drone or controller periodically before you can even fly? I imagine when Remote ID goes into affect that might happen. Either update or they won't even let you take off. I fly in open desert, no planes, people, etc and usually no cellular service. The catch is if you ever connect that device to the internet again, it will download your flight data to the DJI servers. So if the FAA ever catches wind of your flights, they can get a warrant to seize your flight records from the DJI servers. That is my understanding, but I could be wrong. The chance that you get busted flying without remote ID is so small unless someone specifically wait on you to fly and report you. 4. If you are flying under 107 then, you pretty much have no choice.
@AaronSpieler

September 16th, 2023 is the exact date that we all have to fly under part 89 and have remote ID. Can you share any links for this lawsuit? I would love to learn more about it and see if it is having an impact on these rules. I agree that in most cases, you will be able to get away with it for awhile, but I don't think it is a wise thing to avoid forever. Not to mention, by 2023 all drones will have remote ID built in and I bet you won't have an option to turn it off and it might be a federal offense if you try to, but I don't know that for sure. Lastly, part 89 only applies to registered drones. As of right now registration is based on weight. So a drone like the Mavic mini that weighs less than the 0.55 pound requirement for registration will not have to fly under part 89 and therefore won't need remote ID. But if you are flying "in furtherance of a business" with the Mavic Mini, then you do need your part 107. This definitely doesn't make sense, but that is how it is written right now and I haven't seen anything to clarify this on the FAA website. So this is when older drones have advantage since they don’t have remote ID builtin, attaching the external module on drone is not enforceable. You can practically fly without registration, remote ID, until you get busted somehow. @AaronSpieler
@AaronSpieler 3 года назад
I have tried to do some more reading on this very topic because it seems like a lot of people are not agreeing about it. As it is written right now, the ONLY requirement for registration is weight. It doesn't matter what you are flying for. So if you don't have to register your drone, then you don't have to adhere to part 89, but you do need your part 107. Does not make sense, but that is how it is written. In fact, the FAA website says that for who has to fly in accordance with Remote ID. Quote, "All drone pilots required to register, including those who fly for fun, for business, or for public safety, must operate their drone in accordance with the final rule on remote ID beginning September 16, 2023..." So as you can see, even they say that it is based on the requirement to register. The fact that they worded it that way makes me believe that if you don't have to register your drone, you don't have to comply. And if you are flying a mini, then you don't have to register. I don't see this rule lasting forever, definitely seems like that is not their intention, but as of right now, this seems to be the black and white that exists. I could be wrong, but I would love to see where it says so because I have wasted hours looking for it lol.

I don't know, I'll get straight to it. But my best guess is no. I think there is one major difference between sUAS and RC Craft, and that is where they are flown. Since drones have cameras on them, people not only use them for work, but also for their photo and video enjoyment. Therefore people are far more likely to want to fly all over the place. With RC airplanes and helicopters, my understanding is that most of those pilots fly in AMA designated areas. And since those areas are established for flying those areas, they fly within the rules and guidelines of that location. I know that is kind of wordy, but that is my take on it. Not only does it give you that protection of sorts, but you will learn a lot of important aeronautical info that can be very helpful to fly. Now, you might feel like that your flights are not commercial flights, but the FAA might. They use the phrase "in furtherance of a business" as their catch all. I remember watching another RU-vidr a couple years ago who actually meet with an FAA agent. The agent told him that if he flew his drone to record his kids playing in the backyard and a Coke truck went by out front and the drone captured it, that footage would become "in furtherance of a business" and you would need a part 107 to post that footage, even to a personal facebook account. Now, I think this whole scenario is a bit extreme and I have a feeling it isn't totally accurate, but this is a great example of how there is a lot of grey area with all of this and therefore, get your 107 and then you don't have to worry about that aspect of it. As far as buying a drone would go right now, I would NOT recommend buying a brand new drone that doesn't have standard remote ID built in. I have had the same drone for almost 3 years and it still is doing just fine. They can last for years if you take care of them. My point, waiting to invest a lot of money until you can get a drone with standard remote ID. I have read rumors saying that all DJI drones already have it built in, but I have not been able to confirm that through any official channels. I hope this was helpful, feel free to ask more questions. But like I said, I think this would be a good topic to make a video on. What kind of questions do you have that you would like answered?

@@AaronSpieler this is gold, thank you! I’m starting to study for it, I’m going to get the license just so I can avoid a lot of the grey area. Some questions I have now are - so getting my 107 is my 1st step, what are the steps after that? Is the 107 the end all and I can just fly freely within the rules and guidelines of drone flying? It is my understanding that if you get the dji mini, if your intent is to use on RU-vid, you still need your license, is that right? Also, The remote ID thing is a little fuzzy to me, what is it exactly? Is it a tracker and anytime you fly you are being monitored? Or is it something else? That’s interesting that dji’s drones may have it already, if you get clarification on that please let us know. I really enjoyed this video you made here and thought it was very thorough and clearly stated for a newbie to drone lingo like me. Thanks for making it and I look forward to the video you make for beginners.

Sweet man! I appreciate it lol. And I agree. It does feel like it is a bit overboard. But, get a drone that is under 250 grams and you won't have to worry about it at all. At least that is what is sounds like right now. But even if you do fly a normal drone and broadcast info, I don't think it is much different that a license plate on a car. I think it is something that people may be able to see about your drone, but it doesn't seem like it will be broadcasting all of your personal details. Especially with that Session ID. I think like anything, the federal government is changing things and it is uncomfortable. But in the end, there isn't a whole lot we can do about it as we well know when it comes to the government. We will just have to wait and see.

Welcome to my world! I am a Part 61 pilot, and I have to comply with the same ‘invasion of privacy’ .......in the interest of SAFETY!!!!!! Like it or not, a drone operator is now operating an “aircraft” in complicated airspace. It is a shame that there are ‘childish’ and ‘irresponsible’ operators out there that think it is fun to harass people on the ground, harass lifestock, and , in general, be rude to people because it is ‘fun’. Because of people like that, professional people are having to jump through hoops and give up some freedom, just to make it easier to catch the unprofessional people that don’t care about doing things correctly. It is a shame that we have to do this.....but I have been flying as a commercial pilot for 40 years; i have to do the same thing for the aircraft that I fly manned. It is part of playing the game. Anything below 250 grams is a ‘toy’ ; anything more is an aircraft.......even if you are doing it ‘for fun’, the aircraft can still cause damage to people and property. It still is operating in airspace that manned aircraft operate in. You are welcome to come join us in the airspace , but we all have to abide by the rules. The rules are just newer to UAS!🤪

@@kennethmoore6288 I actually mentioned this comparison in the video, but I believe I cut it out. I couldn't agree more with the way you worded it. I am also a skydiver and I hope to have my part 61 someday. I love aviation in general. With that said, I try to give the FAA the benefit of the doubt when I can. I know these changes are coming to the UAS world because of companies like Amazon. But I also believe that it was just a matter of time as well. When the Model T hit the road, people didn't need a drivers license. Things have changed since then. The same can be expected here. And I agree, the age old problem of one person ruining it for everyone is also a factor here. But as someone that flies my drone professionally, I don't mind the extra rules because it is actually making things better. As far as privacy goes, anyone who has a social media account should not be worried about privacy because we have already handed all that over to big tech companies anyways. I completely get where people are coming from and why they are upset, but that is why I made this video. At the end of the day, people will fly legally or not and laws will just keep coming our way. It was nice to hear your perspective though. Good to know I am not the only one.

Good luck on your part 61 dream!!!! It is very expensive, very time consuming, and also very rewarding! It will definitely be worth the effort!!! Yeah, the world has changed. I have a book written in 1975 where one of the famous aviation writers of the day was lamenting transponders as being “only for the airliners that could afford such nonsense! “ He went on to say “.....I wouldn’t have one in my aircraft if it was given to me! A total waste of money and nothing gained!”. IF he is still alive today, I guarantee he is flying with one in his plane; and probably spent a LOT of money for it.....especially if it is ADSB certified. FAA part 107 is catching everyone up to be working in the ‘NextGen’ system. Drone operators are feeling this effect now just like Part 61 pilots did in the 70’s and 80’s. I know your pain.......I understand your pain; I’ve been there!!!!!! But, if you want to play the game, you have to start loving with the rules. We are all playing in the national airspace system, whether you like it or not. Granted, I would LOVE to go back to the way flying was in the 30’s to the 50’s! Sadly, I can’t! But I will follow the rules of today so that I can still fly! Rest assured, if whoever is reading this today stays in this emerging industry for 30-40 years, you will be writing diatribe like this to the ‘newer’ industry professionals wishing you had the ‘Wild West’ flying like we had in the teens!😂 BTW.......it is tough getting old!!!!!🤪

Waste of time having a drone now, regulations are getting strick. A lot of those who used to review them have given up. FAA dies not want you to fly a drone and sqeezing you out. Next stage is a license.

Needing a license has been around for awhile, so I'm not sure what you mean by "next stage". Also, these drone laws are helping my company out, so it is only squeezing out the people that shouldn't be flying

There is a lot to know and keep track of. Manned aviation has been doing it for decades, so drones are just getting introduced into it. After 3 years of flying, it has actually been a lot easier and more straight forward than I expected. Just takes time like with anything else.

As an amateur photographer I only wanted to capture the beauty of where I live along the Russian River and West Sonoma County coast, Northern California. During the recent Walbridge fire near Guernville CA, 25 miles from my house, updates wouldn't let me fly for 2weeks. I was nowhere near the problem. Wish I could share some the amazing shots I've captured with my M2P.
@AaronSpieler
@AaronSpieler 3 года назад
Were you checking live resources like B4U Fly, Airmap, or the DJI air chart map? If so, how far out did the restricted airspace go? I am simply curious because 25 miles does seem like plenty of separation, but maybe there was more to it. Just speculating here, but I get your frustration. It is just part of the craft unfortunately.

Yes, I do use AirMap and B4UFLY. Where I live, Russian River Valley I pretty rural so there aren't many restrictions at all. Exceptions are State Parks and Marine Sanctuaries, Schools, etc. During the fire I spoke of it was DJI that imposed the no fly zone through and mandatory update. Later I learned they made a mistake.

It's like I'm trying to stand on a sheet of ice and juggle 3 chainsaws while I try to learn how to fly my drone and be responsible. Have local law enforcement trying to enforce airspace and state laws regarding airspace when it is beyond their jurisdiction, miss-informed civilian white knights, ever shifting rules from the FAA.. I feel attacked every time I launch, already anxious enough without things being so vague, unclear and so poorly defined on many of the rules as well. I can't help but feel like they did this on purpose so no matter what you do, they can 'bust you' depending on how they interpret them on a case-by-case instance.
@AaronSpieler

Drones offer a new level of convenience to big corporate companies like Amazon. They are also the companies that are backing the politicians to change the laws in their favor. So when it comes to us normal people, it causes more trouble than it should. I think the benefits of remote ID outweigh the cons, but I know I am one of the few that look at it that way. I fly commercially and these changes will help me out, but for the everyday flight it definitely makes things more complicated than is necessary. And like you said, flying a drone well and being safe is already hard enough and when you add all these other factors it can take all the joy right out of it. With that said, if you know the laws, the airspace, and the purpose of your flight, you will be ok. I have been flying for 3 years and I have never once ran into a problem with anyone. Maybe I am lucky, but I also do a lot of research and planning before I fly. I hope you don't give up on it!

I'm sorry...this is still overreach! You want to mess something up; let the "Federal Government " get involved! My question is...why all the concern? Ask yourself 1. How many bird strikes to aircraft every year? 2. How many strikes to aircraft by drones? I'm still concern about why are our elected officials want to regulate drone owners? Federal Government trying to save us from ourselves!
