After I made a video on "12 Things to Do on Marco Island", I realized there is not a lot of information on this amazing escape in Florida. It also seemed clear based on the comments that many people didn't "get" Marco Island. For those party people out there - this is not the place. Marco is all about taking it slow and indulging in simple pleasures like nature and food. I hope you enjoy this glimpse into Marco Island with some details to help you plan your next trip.

We love Marco Island so much that we bought land and started to build our dream home there. Yes... it’s a bit pricey ,,,,, but the atmosphere, beach and food is remarkable. We feel home on Marco Island.

Thank you for your honesty about MI. Key West is clearly is not, but I might still book a room there for a week and I am glad I know what to expect now.

Hi thanks for your video, we got married there at the Hilton Hotel in 2009. I really miss Marco especially during the lockdown as I’m from the UK. I do seem to remember there is an airport on the island but this is a small airfield. I’m subscribing to you. Ps the Hilton Hotel has had a makeover and has gone sky high with its prices now! Mike

Me and my wife are going to Marco in July we are very excited! Your videos have been very helpful! We are going to be staying at the Hilton resort and spa. We are looking forward to Everglades city as well. Do you have anymore suggestions of must do??

Nice video Rose! Thanks 👍. I've been a year round resident of Marco Island since 1990. I was curious to see what you had to say about my home. Well done. I kinda disagree with one thing. There's plenty of 'Partying' on Marco Island. Locals just keep it 🤫 hush. And 9 pm is when it begins. But, I didn't tell you that.🤣 I L❤️VE Marco Island 🏝️. ✌️🦋

The busiest season is usually between November and April

The people here are a kind and proper lot. Just watch out for users from Miami who will steal your identity! PLEASE be careful. I was just out of 6 months hospital stay which makes these kind of people even worse
