What to Photograph When Plan 'A' Doesn't Work Out? 

No matter how much we plan, sometimes plan A just goes out the window. What do you do in that case? In this video I was planning to shoot some long exposures of some waves washing over some logs on the beach. The problem was it was low tide. Although I knew it was low tide, I didn't think the water would be so far out. So I had two choices: improvise or go home. My advice for you is never go home! Never give up, never surrender!!! haha :) Truth is, there are frames all around us, we just need to observe and be aware of our surroundings. Even if plan A doesn't work out, there's always plan B and C. Walk around your location and be aware of what's around you. There is always something. Always!
Since I couldn't shoot my wave long exposures, I ended up shooting planes, flowers, birds and a couple of nature shots. Most important thing is that I didn't go home empty handed.
