I did go up Cape ways bt was at Coen for 11days brahh. Was amazing ther tho.. I doin this trip again. I took my hiace van bro. Ye ye. Went gr8 too. Ha ha lol. Ye ye.
I have done the Cape 3 times over the past 12 years and have never carried the amount of car gear you do. I just carry some spare belts and hoses, a small container of oil and a tyre repair kit.
@@rob_johnson9274 I have done my fair share of hard tracks including the Old Telegraph track 3 times, The Canning Stock Route, The Gunbarrel Highway, the Gibb River Road, The Tanami Track, The Simpson Desert crossing and many others.
Yeah it's not exactly a remote trip anymore unless you head out to some of the more remote camps in Lakefield or Cape Melville or whatever. If you're just doing the Telegraph Track you don't really need anything more than what you describe if you are willing to rely on outside help. I'd probably carry spare CVs and a tool kit in addition to what you listed. I do a lot of really remote trips and for those, two most important things I carry are Satphone / personal EPIRB and First Aid Kit. I also keep my engine and electronics stock and keep the car as light as possible. If I'm going full out there remote I use a Daihatsu Scat. Just about unkillable and unboggable.
Lol, i do have a challenger and to be honest if you are travelling in 2 there is enough space! Planning a big trip and I might take the middle row of seats off to get that extra space. 🏕️🤙
