Great video - thanks for the advice. Tip about having hooded top to throw on over your PFD if you fall in, and to keep paddling is really useful. BTW Have you tried lighter SUP specific dry suits in the winter? I use a Prolimit SUP dry suit in the UK and adjusting the layers underneath you don't get too hot. I've got a model where you can easily loosen the neck gasket collar (making sure you don't fall in!) to reduce heat if needed.
Thanks for your comments Nick! I have not actually tried a lighter drysuit. The Mustang Drysuit and Kokatat Drysuits I have used in the past have been too heavy and warm. Sounds like the Prolimit is one that's lighter which is great. That's what we need as sup paddler to not overheat. I will have to look at trying one in the future. Thanks for your recommendation!
