I hope you will do one of these videos for every month! I really enjoy them. I was planning to go to Paris in the spring, but I’m a bit scared off now because of the huge bedbug problem there now. I don’t want to bring these home with me!🙂
Merci Alice! I am LOVING all of your videos! I am coming to Paris in November for my 20th wedding anniversary and I am taking all of your tips! Will you please make a "What to wear in Paris in November?"
Lovely outfits. Autumn is my favorite time of year. Wish I could visit twice! October and January. I wear a lot of camel/red combos at this time of year so I appreciated your including them.
Those outfits all look amazing. You have a great sense of aesthetic. Those are really really nice coats that you wear with your outfits. Those beautiful sunglasses are so stylish and look amazing on you. I love your short hair, btw, it looks very pretty! Where I live, October is a lot like May (we have strong seasonal lag here), but temperature drops and changes a lot. Record high is 94 Fahrenheit, record low is 15 Fahrenheit. Averages on October 1 are 73 during the day and 51 and night, but on Halloween (October 31) averages are a 56 during the day and 38 during the night. Sometimes it snows during October here. November is another quick drop month, the record high is 89 degrees Fahrenheit, record low is 0 degrees Fahrenheit, averages change a lot too, November 1 the averages area high of 56 and a low of 37, November 30 has a high of 40 and a low of 23 on average. Does your weather change as rapidly as ours? It's amazing how in two months we go from 73 during the day and 51 at night on October 1 to 40 during the day and 23 at night on November 30. And we tend to get snow in November, especially at the end. Then from December through March we're locked into the deep freeze and the snow finally starts to melt in early April (we usually get one last early April snowstorm).
Thanks so much for the Fahrenheit temperatures, it’s much easier for us used to old-fashioned British Imperial ways of measurement. (We studied for a dozen years in school as children for the Big Conversion to SI, then it was canceled, stupidly in my opinion!). I try to look at the C temperature scale to get a feel for it, but usually forget. We Americans aren’t nearly as terrified of a little rain as the British, especially, and other Northern Europeans, seem to be. We get twice the rain London gets (Northern San Francisco Bay Area), or more, but we don’t even think of complaining about it. I think the very hot summer months are the worst time to travel, it’s hard to stay cool enough and there are such huge tourist crowds everywhere. A lot of the places I want to see don’t normally have air conditioning, either. I can’t imagine traveling in the Mediterranean this last summer, the people who live there never got a break from those extreme heat waves and fires. Greece and the Greek/Roman antiquities of Asia Minor are high on my list of places to see in Europe, but it won’t be in July through September, perhaps not even June or October. Love your channel, thank you, dear Alice❤
Hi great video I am supposed to be coming to Paris for a month .. firstly the bed bug plague what is the deal with this is it as bad as is reported please
I lost my favorite trench coat. 😢. I’m wondering if the long shearling I bought in Paris years ago is acceptable or no longer acceptable? It’s so warm and we are thinking of visiting in November.
Can I ask, where are your tight west flare jeans from, I'm in Toronto. They look lovely on you. I'm 5 6 and thin so I would like a heavy w stretch denim (must be comfortable) and a small flair to hit around mid calf to ankle area, have difficulty finding jeans! Thank you in advance for responding.
