*Using video to build your personal brand?* Then you'll want to check out my free masterclass: "How to Become the Go-To Expert in Your Niche (Without Working to the Point of Burnout)"! 😍👉🏻 personalbrandingproject.co/expert/
Practice! But for anyone struggling with this, I always suggest putting a little piece of fluorescent tape right near the lens to help you focus if ever you look away and struggle to find the right point to focus on again.
Sorry but I blue doesn’t suit you. It’s too deep and too bright for your completion and colouring. I find it distracting. Apart from that love your videos .
Awesome! Obviously if you have something specific you need to wear for an audition, make sure it suits the character - but the rest of the guidelines still apply :)
Find something lighter so you pop out! If you tend to wear neutrals, then a fun color will work, but if you like wearing color then go for something neutral (like white or pale grey)
Any tips for pregnant mamas?I have bee invited on TV with my book and i am 6 months preggo It will be a sitting setting with no table involved .. to hide or cut some shape into some sort of form.... i am desperate i will look like a giant marsh mellow :)
Firstly, congratulations on the TV opp (and your book!!) -that’s fantastic! I’m sure you’ll look amazing, and that you’re simply *carrying* an adorable giant marshmallow in your belly ;) That said, I find that the best thing to do is find places you can show off your “real” shape (i.e. shoulders, legs) by wearing pieces that aren’t over-sized/loose *all* over. Empire line tops or dresses are handy as they’re fitted to just under your bust then flare out. And keeping your neck/shoulder area really simple (show off your neck, nothing frilly or busy that adds bulk) will help show your real proportions and highlight your face! Whatever you do, try a bunch of options on and sit down in them (ideally in front of a camera - your phone on a tripod or someone can record you) to make sure you both feel comfortable in your body, and can spot any potential visual issues ahead of time as things always look different on camera vs in a mirror! Wishing you all the best - and have fun! :)
For sure! As long it contrasts with your background, most block colors work :) If in doubt, do a test shot of you in the color with the lighting and camera you'll be using and watch it back - much more reliable than a mirror!
Good evening. I signed up for the How to Become the Go-To Expert in Your Niche Without Working to the Point of Burnout , however disappointed that the size of the video is about one square inch. Is that the only option? Need a binocular to see it! ;)
Hi there! I'm guessing you're viewing it on your smartphone? Do you see the little icon in the bottom right corner with 4 arrows? If you click that it'll open up in full screen then you can tilt your phone to view it horizontally. Otherwise you can open up the link on desktop and do the same :)
