I don't think TB is the one receive the IX gaze, or gain Nihility path. First of all, TB is not the one who receive Hunt path, that's March. And the one that gain Lan gaze is Feixiao. This feel like to me a transition to the fact that, someone else will gain Nihility path and IX gaze. Cause after all, this is not Genshin, TB doesn't need to travel between region just to gain new element. Let's just assume that, TB will gain new path like the Traveler in Genshin. How can TB gain Erudition, when most of time TB is just memeing and trolling. How can TB gain Abundance, when we try to kill it, at the same time. If anything TB will gain Elation cause Masked Fool invite us to join them. What the Elation path is not playable? Well just use other path as playable and TB is just Masked Fool in paper. 😮😮😮
Also did TB actually gain Harmony path in Penacony, because to me, it feel like TB gain Trailblaze path. TB receive the hat from Mikhael which come from Falcon, one of the navigator of the Express. Clockie power is also the power of Trailblaze. It's just that they can't reveal Akivili this early and Trailblaze is not a playable path, so gain Harmony path and Xipe gaze.
We do have a playable harmony path now sonwe did gain that one but as for nihility not be playable I think its gunna happen but its also possible maybe we dont I suppose guess we really dont know forsure good point about march although I think we will still gain the hunt@recentmap7268

Welt is said to only be in this universe to prevent Himeko from dying, I could see the game going the route of putting Himeko in great danger, but instead of her dying, Welt sacrifices himself. In doing so it would trigger the Nihility path in the MC. But, knowing the power Welt holds, there are possibilities of him coming back, which would be a easy out of jail card for the writers to completely forego most of the strings attached to what you proposed Also, it can't be ruled out that new paths will emerge, especially the Finality
now this more like it, i agree with you. It would be much more safe to make welt the one who dying than himeko, because they can make whatever thing to the story to make it make sense.
Honestly, it would be cooler if Himeko did die (Rip, I know. But let me cook) and we get the path of Nihility AND we get a destruction path for Welt where he finally goes full HI3rd peak Welt mode using both the Star of Eden and his Authority of Reason
Acheron said we probably won't meet again but we insisted that we might will. That's a foreshadowing. Once they introduced all Stellaron Hunters member, there will be one day a moment where Trailblazer lost in space alone after losing battle to someone in a planet, and your help will be the Stellaron Hunter and Acheron.

Currently, the Trailblazer doesn't even have a reason to hunt anything down to THAT degree, so once we get that vengeful, then we would get the hunt path. So we might get two depression stages since The Hunt might represent revenge, while Nihility will probably just be a Shibuya 2.0 (hopefully not the Eclipse type shii💀🙆🏽♂️)
I’ve noticed that the Trailblazer has some similarity with the Aeon when they obtain that Aeon’s Gaze. Trailblazer protected March from Doomsday Beasts attack, taking the laser beam on themself. Nanook’s homeworld faced destruction twice, this eventually caused Nanook to ascend. Both of THEM/them faced Destruction. On Jarilo, Trailblazer wanted to help them get rid of the Stellaron for reasons that benefit both. Qlipoth wanted to help everyone by building walls. Both of THEM/them wanted to help someone else. In Penacony, the Trailblazer encountered followers of the Order practicing their corrupt views on the planet, and had to overcome Ena’s Dream. Xipe naturally assimilated The Order into The Harmony. Both of THEM/them had some encounter with The Order, and came out as the ultimate Victor. Another important element to take note of, is that the Trailblazer was in possession of something that connects to the Path in question. For Preservation, it was the Lance of the Supreme Guardian. For Harmony, it was the Hat of the Watchmaker. For Destruction … never clarified, but with the Bat being the main weapon, the Baseball Bat Curio may have some strong connection to the Path of Destruction, and since the Hat and Lance belonged to someone of major significance to the Planet … the same might be true about the Baseball Bat Curio? … we really need to learn more about that Curio. Following this, we can conclude that if the Trailblazer obtains a new Path in Amphoreus, it will be accompanied by some item(s) that represents both a significant character, and the respective Path. When the Trailblazer unlocks the Path of Nihility, they will be replicating something similar to what IX the Nihility has experienced.
@@Matthew-ph2ht I have a personal theory that I’m still working on, that Stellarons are made using the Path of Destruction, but are in actuality, is another Path reconstructed. So, on Jarilo, the Stellaron might’ve originally been a Path of Preservation, but then it was destroyed by the Path of Destruction, then the destroyed Path of Preservation was recreated into a Stellaron. Since the Stellaron our Trailblazer has originates from the Planet Herta lives on, it might be made out of a reconstructed Path of Erudition. Of course, this is theoretical, so suggesting that the Stellaron actually is the reason why we have the Path of Destruction, this would indicate that the Stellaron belongs to someone significant in the world, which should be Herta, since she’s the one who sealed it up, but since it gives us the Path of Destruction and not Erudition, that would mean that Herta follows the Destruction … which we should tell from the story so far, Herta does not follow the Destruction. With that being said, the Stellaron is a significant item in “technical” ownership of a significant character of Erudition, so it wouldn’t be too far fetched to theorize that the Stellaron will unlock the Path of Erudition for us.

I don't think this game will turn out to be too dark, considering they didn't kill Aventurine and jiaoqiu when they could have gotten their perfect deaths. But things might change down the line.
They like to keep similar stories with their export characters so that makes sense for himeko but if we do go into IX shadow we will come back by the end of the story forsure hsr isnt scared to kill characters
[SPOILERS FOR 2.5] Honestly, i'm not so sure about the "Kill characters" Part, what have we gotten so far other then a few cheap 'BUT THE CHARACTER SURVIVED SOMEHOW" Firefly? Not actually dead. Tingyun? Well, we saw at the end of 2.5 that she's actually alive. Aventurine? He survived acherons slash and was saved by Argenti (SOMEHOW!?) I mean, think about it... when have we seen any actual NAMED and PLAYABLE characters die, and have had them stay dead? The closest I can think of is Cocolia, and she wasn't even a playable character. FYI i'm still a pretty big fan of HSR, so it's not like i'm some "X game fanboy" trying to say that HSR is actually bad. But I am a little disappointed with that particular part of the story, especially when compared to HI3rd. I'm not saying that the game needs to be like Game of Thrones and just kill characters off for the sake of killing them off for shock factor. But I am starting to get a bit tired of these cheap cop out "Deaths" a bit, and would like to see SOME character actually stay dead.

I believe in order to get 'IX' Nihility, and The Astral Express Crew is still "Save" at the same times. 1. Something Bad, or so Brutal in MC Past that earn IX attention this cause MC fell to the Shadow of IX. Why in the past? Because beside March 7 we barely know anything about MC past beside their actually Artificial Human that able to host a Stellaron, maybe prior to that MC has much darker, brutal, or even much depress past that able to earn attention from IX. 2. MC Suffer Alone without anyone from Astral Express there for them they suffer either unable to save peoples, or due to the Stellaron mallfunction causing to kill alot of people. As for The Hunt MC doesn't have any reason to Hunt something, maybe The Hunt is more associatte with Vengeful thing I think MC will go to this 'Revenge Hunt' toward someone or something in order to earn a gaze from Lan So I believe IX Nihility, and The Hunt chapter will be dark and depressing story for the MC.
Perhaps sending firefly to penocony to have a deap relationship with us was in the plan of elio .it's possible that some how we lose firefly and become follower of nihility . sooner or later she will die. And what great sacrifice she would be for us, making her death some how useful for us and plans of elio. It's sad but it's possiblety.
Or perhaps even Kafka and Blade.. which even worse. Kafka doesn't seem to fear death, she doesn't even know what fear is. And I heard Elio told her that he will show her what fear means.. maybe she will start to have fear once Stelle is about to die.. again. As for Blade? Well, isn't DEATH the only thing he's been after? Still, can't tell how Silver Wolf would end up, thou.
Who knows? It could be the actual express, like imagine, losing a home but it just not your home, it's everyone home and the trailblaze will feel bad for not saving it fast Enough. Correct me if I'm wrong, and I did it. Say in the story that something happened to the train, like half of it separated, because of an unknown nameless or something.
well some leaks does say that the new planet will be close with the time itself, so there might be a chance for a TB to see the end of the world and be close enought to IX`s shadow
My working theory is that since the swarm will be revived soon I wonder if it’ll ravage almost everything and the trailblazer will think the whole express crew is dead, sending them so far down into a distraught mental state that they manage to draw power from the nihility
Usually i'm a huge theorist and my theory's tend to get a bit... Crazy... But ever since i stopped watching game theory, i've been falling off the charts quite a bit and all the honkai-verse isn't helping one bit. Infact, It has been frying my brain RAPIDLY as i try to catch up and sometimes fail to do it correctly because i sometime rush it or just fail at it, But might as well get the ball rolling so i have something to hang onto: The classic hoyoverse move, Leak a bunch of endgame related stuff at the very start of the game, Never mention it or mention anything about it for a good 4-6 years when, Make everyone drop their notes and theories, Make 95% of the fandom forget about it, Let 1% of the quantity slip out every once a year, And then a good 4-6 years later, drop the bombshell when everyone leasts expects it without any warning, Any warm up, And absolutely no mention, Making everyone pick up the paste. But this is the hoyoverse cycle that initiates their genius storytelling, So let's continue this cycle while playing dumb and pretending that these theories are definitely still going to hit the spot in the span of 6 months. Hey, Speaking of which, i dont think their going to give us the path of nihility so soon, my best bet would be at the very near ends of the game where we do a little oopsie and fall into IX's shadow by accident... Literally. If himeko was to die here tho, that would mark as the LONGEST a himeko counter-part has ever lived. Mavuika being at the very bottom because she literally just announced that she died BEFORE we even woke up on teyvat, Og himeko's death gives me to much depression, But she lasted 2 years (that's all i'll say) and hsr Himeko is still thankfully alive. (Tho i don't think she is going to be for long.. yeah... sorry guys.) I feel as if himeko was to die, we would venture more towards the hunt, not the nihility (aka depression) and i don't think that's really gonna work out for whatever hoyo has cooking up. So it's either kill Himeko or spare her for another time. But, what else can possibly happen? well, here is where the crazy overly angsty depression part kicks in, *The entirety of the express including the train blows up* Yep! that's right! you heard me damn right! EVERYONE in the astral express, even the train itself just dies, Pom Pom, March, Welt, The one who i refuse to name, Himeko, The train, Anyone in it.. ALL OF THEM, Excluding us, just die. Now, there's a bit of a hole here which i can very easily fill up, *They got absolutely screwed in the battle with Nanook the destruction* (I would honestly live to see the certain green guy get absolutely DESTROYED by Nanook tho) Which leads us to the offical end of our journey... Or should i say, the "trailblazers" journey. All that they have worked for, everything they went through, all that they pushed foruth towards, the people they love, all of it, gone. They defeated Nanook and made it to the end of their story, but those who travelled along with them are no more.. Heck, even the people they met on their journey's *along with the astral express* couldn't give them the helping hand they were promised. The trailblazer couldn't save them, The residents from the other planets couldn't save them, No one could... No one... Everything is pointless, They have no where to go, Just endlessly floating through space with the stellaron burried deep within their body, Not allowing them to die, their literally going through five different stages of grief. And THATS when they inherit the power of IX the nihility, and it's also when acheron comes back to help them. BUT, you thought depression theory time was over didn't you? Ohohojojojojsjdjej, NOPE, my angsty @$$ brain DEMANDS me to add this part in. Basically, *Their so broken they just let the nihility consume them whole which is why acheron actually tries to come to their aid and help them.* But, the script has ended, the show is over, the gig is up. And yet, everything is still going, everything is still moving, life, time, the flow of space, the story ofHonkai impact 3rd.. Finality... This was how the end felt like, Nothing. Absolutely nothing. They felt like nothing. They had the power to cross to other worlds, The power to ask for help. But at what cost? Who could they possibly contact that just so happens to pull them back together? Where could they settle at that manages to give them their well-deserved rest and healing arc? No where and No one hit as hard as the express did, And well... their all gone... All this pain and guilt and sadness (Haha, Fnaf reference lolo) is just to much for them to take, They thought they were ready, but, they actually werent, they were far from ready. When suddenly, Acheron comes around (literally and not literally) and 'stumbles' towards them. Suprised or not suprised at all, She decides to help them get their life back together.. Kinda.. Basically, They don't go with her for the rest of their life (you absolute simps) But instead look towards her as a small mentor who just helps them pick up at their life again and then goes to get the milk *intentionally* They are now on their own, they don't know what happens next nor do they want to know because all sense and meaning has just been snatched away from them, the people the prioritized the most are gone, a safe 67% of the people they've seen are no where to be found and ALOT of the worlds they've traveled to in the past hoard broken planets, struggling for survival or just no planets at all. It's sad and only adds up to their misery, they've most DEFINITELY taken some of the hardest hits thus far. And now, their goal is unapparent, they don't know what they should be doing or looking for. They don't know who or where they should run towards, because their story has already reached it's end, and that's also where the game... *ends* It's tragic, sad, depressing, You name it.. BUUUUTTTT, you really thought i (or hoyo if we're going on the long run) would just end this off without bringing up Kafka and the stellaron hunters? Well, i originally planed (haha, get it? planet? Plan? It was a horrible, okay) to bring them out of this because i genuinely have a bone to pick with them (90% of it is from the Kafka fanbase and Kafka herself) But it wouldn't be a proper theory if we drag who hoyo values most out of this. So here you go. Not so long after meeting up with Acheron again, The unexpected but totally expected happend. *Kafka and the Hunters come back* Shocker i know, Acheron is obviously alarmed and with sam, She threatens to unsheate her blade (lolo) but backdowns a little while later AFTER the reconcile, Because for once, they're not here to lore bomb or be menace's and cause haviac because there IS no more lore bombs to drop because end of script for MC or worlds/planets to be menaces for and cause haviac on. But, funny thing uhm. It's kinda their time to shine right now even tho they have like tho it isn't really dawn for a new awakening.HECK! IT ISN'T EVEN DAWN! IT'S 10 AM! But, back on topic, Kafka just came here and dragged everyone else along for one final goodbye with the MC even tho she and firefly/sam (thus far) seem to be the only ones who really care about the MC much (that is saying that FF didn't lose her interest and still views them as her relationship partner- i mean friend/Ally) "The express's end is the hunters beginning" Never seemed to come in handy so much huh? Either ways tho, Kafka does what she does best which is second person monologue and seductive/mysterious behaviour that builds discomfort around her character but also more interest into it. But wait, this Kafka is different.. That's right.. This Kafka is SUS! okay no seriously, She's more open and alot more well spoken, Less second person monologue and seductive behavior more "You've been through alot, but you're still alive and breathing. I'm proud of you and thanks for everything, goodbye." she also tries to comfort MC in the most Kafka way you can possibly imagine but just more dramatic end of story way. Few chats later and then fortunately or unfortunately this marks as the LAST time the MC and us (the player) ever get to see her because of obvious reasons. The others bid their farewells and leave along with Kafka. Which is OFFICIALLY the end of Hsr. They might or will add more onto the game after the finale similar to HI3 so they can not only keep the player count coming but also add more stories from other MC's perspectives which might attract newer players and also prevent the game and fandom from starving and eventually going dead. Though.. It seens as if the HI3rd world seems to collide deep within the HSR universe... Hmmm... I just wonder.. What if... The story of Hsr ended, And someone or better say it, A Survivor from the HSR universe found a way into the HI3 world (NOT SPARKLE), and the story could go from there? See? it would not only attract more players into HI3, But it would also keep the story and BOTH games going. But, as much as i would love for that to happen someday, My brain is already fried enough and this comment has already become a 10 page paragraph essay fit for a complex university registered specifically towards writers if such a uni even exists. Oof, Been awhile since i said that word. Anyways my brain hurts and so does my head, I'm gonna go rest now.
Everything is okay but just dont clear up with story because it needs to go forward. I want it to be like one piece , go on forever. Atleast 60 yrs or so before i die. Why ? Bcz its not about finality but trailblazing , its about journey. As luffy does care about one piece but enjoying his journey , trailblazer also want to trailblaze universe , help and meet people , explore nature and make memories with his fellow nameless and habitants of other planets... i just pray game continue to drop story for next 60 yrs.
My theory is: Pre-amnesia Trailblazer (i will say its Caelus) had at least some paths, the more destructive ones, like Hunt, Voracity, Destruction(?), Nihility, thats why we dont get a Gaze from the Hunt in Luofu, because we already resonate with THEM, but we forgot (Pom-Pom, set course to my weapons). I dont think Pre-Amnesia Caelus had a very... calm way of life, since he was in the Stellaron Hunters (i have some ideias from his true past, but thats for later). I also have another Speculation Bomb, Caelus had an Enigmata weapon, thats why he didnt appear in wanted posters (at least from the places we've seen, but it could be also because he wasnt deployed by Elio). Now the a weapon of the Enigmata? That sounds like a very big leap, since there is no information on how to join the Enigmata, but the key word is * weapon *, Caelus didnt resonate with Mythus, he just got a weapon from the Path, maybe a comissioned one? A heritage? Who knows, but since no-resonance due to skill issue, he couldnt use the weapon to its fullest and just used it to block his enemies perception of him. I believe thats why we cant acess the weapons with the Inventory technology (Or Elio "borrowed" them, or because we dont have them in the bag, idk its confusing.), the Enigmata weapon is hiding their existence from us. Now my third and FINAL bomb, Nihility will be the last path before we get the Path of Trailblaze to us, Nihility Caelus will be first a boss, forced to confront his sins and past. Once we beat him, Nihility will be available as a path, and then we will get Trailblaze to jump Nanook. Case closed, your honor. "Sir, another Theory has hitten the comment section"
Well this maybe me trying to avoid Himeko's fate and also trying to figure out how can she change patchs like March 7th , trailblazer or Dan heng . What if Himeko will accidentally fall into IX and trailblazer will have to fall as well to rescue her ?? In a way it will be amazing for Himeko and Welt to share a path and an element.
My 2 cents. Welt teaches us Reason and/or we 'borrow' his cane. We learn Nihility and use the animation from the concept animation where it was a faceless March.
I have a crazy theory about the connection between the Stellaron Hunters and the Trailblazer. I think the Trailblacer (MC) is actually Elios him/herself. Elios left "the script" to the stellaron hunters and they cannot escape their fate, maybe by erasing his/her own memory Elios is trying to escape the inevitable future the "script" has shown him/her. Only one that knows the actual truth is most likely Kafka only. That's also why Kafka should be an enemy, but she is almost always supporting the Trailblazer and treats him/her as a friend (from the past). It would make sense since the Trailblazer has a slight fading memory of Kafka as she/him wakes up for the first time in the story. Realizing this fact will unlock Trailblazer's Nihility path, since if you already know the past and the future, nothing really matters. It would make sense for the path. I don't think they will kill off this version of Himeko, there isn't any real reason to, if anyone it will be Welt, but that's a theory for another topic.
I do think this will happen, but I really hope it doesn't... I love Himeko and she's one of the main reasons Welt is traveling with everyone, he's there to protect his student, because he couldn't do it to his Himeko, I think he would sacrifice his own life for the chance to save our Himeko. And I also like him 😅 Darn it, the crew of the Express is so damn good and nice, I love them all.
Considering that the real Herta will show herself soon is gonna be wild, her mind is on most likely on par with Zandar considering her many achievements.

@@TimeLords910 TBF the subject on who is an Emanator is quite confusing now a days LMFAO. In the databank Acheron and Herta are the only two confirmed playable Emanators, the Generals are not even once confirmed to be Emanators in the databanks, until Penacony. That's why there is a lot of confusion about the Generals being Hunt's Emanators. So I suggest to stick on what you believe on the matter because this subject is still debatable.
I'm going to be honest, if a character that TB is close to dies, I hope they stay dead. I'm okay with a story with a lot of death or no death, but personally I get kind of sick of stories that have one to many fake deaths. That's just my personal taste though. Anyway it is possible that Himeko might die, however I've been wondering for a while if a lot of characters in HSR will defy their fate, since destiny seems to be a theme within the game. However it's possible that a different character ends up on the chopping block. One of the things that's mentioned is that Elio said Kafka would change because of TB and TB will change because of Kafka, plus there seems to be parallels between the Hunters and the Express crew. One theory I've seen says that Himeko and Kafka share some parallels with each other, so maybe instead of Himeko dying, Kafka ends up dying instead. If she sacrifices herself to protect TB then that probably means she feared that they would die, meanwhile TB might end up changing quite a bit after this event. Plus we don't know what happens to those who had been affected by Spirit whisper once she's gone, maybe at that moment all of TB's memories will return. The only problem here is that Blade might be on borrowed time since Kafka was the only one able to help him, unless they gain a new member that can kind of replace Spirit whisper. However I can also see this not mattering much if by the time we get Nihility, we've pretty much gotten all the paths and we're close to HSR's conclusion.
I highly doubt that Himeko would die because then Welt would have completely and utterly failed his one mission to protect Himeko. Not to mention the plotline of the sky people being after Himeko would be wiped completely and I don’t think they put that out there for no reason, we will definitely see them at some point. The fake death thing would be so cheap since they’ve already done it with two other characters fairly recently
Character death is so overrated, its not necessary for tragedy but nothing is easier than just “oh time to kill this character” so writers use it as a crutch. Like wendy in hi3. But gallagher did disappear from reality and so far its been the only real “death” so maybe it can happen to someone else.
Personally I think they will leave Himeko alone only because from a narrtive standpoint it wouldnt make sense for her to die "again" which would defeat the main reason why Welt came here in the first place, to protect her from the skypeople. People thought she would die in Penacony for the longest I honestly believe she will be okay but hey I could be wrong and I welcome that since I do like twists in stories. Plus the thing with HSR is that they always have fake outs so that leads me to be skeptical about "death" in HSR at least with the main casts.
Everyone on the express died when mc didn't board the express and got stuck in the eternal dream when rejected aventurine's offer, The saddest part will be if everyone died except himeko, leaving her all alone by herself in the train again.
I think we get Nihility last. And we get it through Welt recognizing the similarities between the Honkai and Trailblazer through his experiences in the events of HI3, and kicks us out. We lose our identity, our companions, our reason to live ect. Maybe the power we obtain ny the aeons becomes unstable, and Himeko dies trying to find a way to stop it. And we descend from there. Thats just my theory on what I think is going to happen.

I feel like that the Trailblazer will see the Nihility instead of stepping into their shadow, and the Stellaron will react to nudge the Aeon awake. There, IX will stare the Trailblazer down, seemingly gazing onto them and giving them the Path of Nihility. After all, IX doesn't even know what it is doing, so a gaze like that will be because of the simply fact something woke it up and their gaze is just a "Huh? What's up?" type of thing.
Wait but isnt acheron nowhere in the script as stated when she asked sam if she plays a role in elio script? Fairly sure she's an anomaly that elio doesn't even know that exists...
Nah himeko If they do kill her would be a Tony stark kind of death and it would be at the very very end of the story years from now to me it’s more likely welt would sacrifice himself with his black hole than see himeko die
All gatcha players are overall from the Nihility path, they experience the tragedy of losing a 50-50 to a unwanted character, the unavoidable power creep of their favorite DPS and not getting the gears with the right substats. Some people are beyond being Self-Annihilators due to their reckless spending.
considering mihoyo hate their mcs who is not named kiana i doubt so. Trailblazer literally never got a single W in HSR like EVER. I would be shocked if caelus ever had a badass moment
i think it would be cool (and even more gut wrenching tbh) if after himeko dies bc we lost control, welt starts to kind of despise us, especially considering his story in hi3 and how in one of the hi3 mangas it is shown that welt had a lot of care for himeko, even confronting her father when he wanted to build that spaceship and potentially kill millions including himeko. it would be very interesting for him not only bc i feel like he sees the stellaron similarly to the honkai, but also because it would essentially make the trailblazer feel abandoned and like a monster, making them lose all hope and stepping into IX’s shadow. this could also tie acheron coming out and helping us cuz she understands the feeling of losing everything. i feel like this would overall give a more interesting dynamic to the astral express crew and add another layer of lore and emotion, especially because even if welt and the others forgave the trailblazer, their relationship wouldn’t be the same, which could lead to the trailblazer getting the hunt path after with the goal of avenging himeko
Thata what I'm sorta thinking it will make the story intense and I'm sure it would get resolved but at least for that chapter it would be gut wrenching and be a great way to introduce that path without it feeling like a cheap accomplishment
I don't think trailblazer will get gaze from every playable path aeon because in new story Feixiao get Lans gaze instead of trailblazer and I don't think we gona see gaze of same aeon in story twice and if we don't get path of the Hunt then maybe trailblazer take gaze from Remembrance, Elation or another not playable aeon and there is a chance that Abundance, Erudition and Nihility can also be replaced by non-playable path (English not my first language)
Himeko dying would quite literally make Welt's sole existence in hsr useless He came to the hsr universe TO prevent Himeko from dying The one more likely to die is Kafka, which might give even more emotional turmoil to Trailblazer cause they have more history together
I am banking on Kafka's death. Everything Kafka has currently done has been for the script, but also for Trailblazer. I do not believe she 'doesn't' care about the MC, in the slightest, so my belief is it will be one of the last paths we unlock, and that's when they will give us a Sword as a weapon, and it would only be fitting we inherit Kafka's understanding about Nihility to claim the path our selves. Just my theory.
IX won't ever gaze at anyone. To get the TB the Nihility path, he'd need to be forced into IX's shadow. Some world/planet tried to summon an Aeon for help, they messed up and brought in a part of IX's shadow instead. IX indiscriminately drive everyone insane and the TB is forced to take IX's shadow into himself, thus the TB GAZES at IX instead of the other way around. He is driven mad but his sanity is saved by Astral crew and Black Swam saving our journey thus far as a Light Cone. Archeon thought she arrived too late, but sees TB awake, and thus teaches him how to access Nihility without being like her or losing himself either. That's my take.
Welt and Dan Heng are both too hard to kill, and Welt being a carry-over gives him some degree of plot armor. Himeko dying has already been done and Welt is here to prevent that from happening again. My money is actually on Kafka, we know that TB still has their feelings for the stellaron hunters, specifically strongly for Firefly and Kafka. Firefly does technically have death flags, but I don't think she's that likely to go in a manner that fits this, at least before the end of the main arc. But for Kafka, we know that her script will end with her feeling fear for the first time, which is an emotional response designed to prevent death or a reduction in fitness for survival. I believe that this will be not for her own safety, but for the Trailblazer's safety, and she will sacrifice herself to save them. Does she know this is where her path ends? I'd say probably not. That would ruin the fear response, Elio will just tell her that when the time comes she will know what to do. Something else to note is that for each path, the Trailblazer holds a relic associated with someone who followed, upheld, or built upon that path in some way. Kafka has two easily inheritable weapons, is already a nihility character with the nihilistic Stellaron Hunter's view on life, and will also represent Nihility for the Trailblazer if her tragic end is what sends them down the path of nihility. And of course, she already fits the death of the mentor trope, the same one that the death of Murata Himeko belongs to. She was the one who taught TB everything they know, she was the first person they saw when they woke up, she gave them their foundational command in their new life ("When you have a chance to make a choice, make one that you know you won't regret"). I am actually rather confident that Kafka will die before the story is even near its conclusion.

In my perfect honkai Star rail lore it would be kafka the one who dies. Trailblazer, the express and the stellaron Hunters are fighting against a terrible and powerfull enemy elio sayed to kafka in her script that in that battle she would finally meet the fear emotion, in the middle of battle TB it's hurted and when the enemy have the oportunity to kill TB kafka fears TB death and sacrifice herself to save them for kafka death TB remember a little about their past with Kafka and awakens the power nihility and using kafka katana TB will fight to avenge Kafka death not caring if it's a suicide mission
If we do get Nihility as the next path, things will go very south and you're probably right that himeko might somehow be the likely trigger target to getting trailblazer to getting it. It would cool tho that once we do gain Nihility Path, i can only assume is gonna be a good pairing for acheron because they definately would bring her back to help the astral express and trailblazer to control that Nihility. But the real thing i am worried or not too sure about is r they gonna kill Himeko for good or be like Tinyun, FF & Robin deaths ? Lets just hope they don't kill her off because this time Welt will probably feel it more because thats what he came here for. To protect Himeko of this world as he failed on his home world due to the Sky People targetting her. Maybe we might get a sneak peek into who these sky ppl are and why r they targeting her but thats a long stretch
Fun fact in the current Chinese patch 7.8 of hi3 a memo keeper visits kiana in her sleep. Make of that fact what you will. Also sparkle appears in that patch as well.
IX recognizing us will break the path so i don't think we're gonna get it in the near future. Playable nihility tb can be the path of remembarence we don't have a playable path for it and nihility fits it the best
I don't agree that Himeko will be the one to die. My best bet is when we learn about TB's past with the stelleron Hunter's we'll see his connections with Kafka. It's been heavily hinted a few times when we were first gazed by Nanook and when we entered the SU and encountered Fuli that she will more than likely die in the future. Kafka joined Elio because she wants to feel fear. Either she already somewhat cares for us enough, or there will be an event where she will care for the TB more to the point that when we are in serious danger she will feel fear for our safety. She'll try to help us and in doing so she will die in the process. Seeing her die unlocks our memories or maybe they unlocked a little bit before she dies, but when that happens is when we'll unlock nihility. It would be cool if we use her sword as our weapon for nihility as a memento. Her guns work as well.
Not really. If Acheron is any indication. While tragedy is part of Acheron. She gained the powers of Nihility by SURVIVING IX shadow. IX never gazes on anyone. Acheron showed that TB might become Nihility by Enduring Nihility itself. Thematically tragedy will be there. But IX will be an unwilling giver of power. As he is with Acheron.
Man nihility Trailblazer will be like some shit. Like palpatine Kafka but not a meme...well okay it would be a meme regardless, humanity is cursed with it. But a Palpatine character that makes sense and isnt so much manipulative as she is just guiding the tutelidge of that power by the script she is given since it fulfils her own needs as well. I think rather than Himeko, Welt would be a crazy stand in. He's the herald of the express that saves you from prematurely exploding and even worse. His death would fuck up everyone familiar with him from HI3rd.
Listen we do not speak about Himeko death around here. Honkai Starail players are not ready for emotional damage of that kind. Those who played HI3 know. Also Welt came to HSR to protect Himeko, It would be kind of dissapoting to see his fail immidiently. I want at least a animated cinematic of welt disintegrating something with star of eden first.
Is it possible that what trailblazer and/or the stellaron hunters, are trying to bait Akavilie (trailblaze aeon) or revive him (idk if he’s dead) and that’s why we are collecting the paths (and I have no idea how we will get nihility tbh)
Erudition could maybe happen in the project to kill abundance as ruan mei is involved, or maybe in attempting to kill abundance THEY might curse us with THEIR gaze
i think it would be possible to have a playable path in double. as exemple, may-be our next path will be Remembrance, but it has no playable path, so it could be a cryo Nihility. then we could get a 2nd Nihility for the real Nihility.
