You sure can say fly the flag but If youre flying it and use it to represent heritage you misunderstanding all the hate that is also flying along side it. Lincoln said himself in his first Inaugural he had no authority to interfere with slavery, he said he was in favor of signing the Corwin Amendment which was already passed by Congress which would make it Constitutionally explicit that the Federal G9vt could not interfere with State Institutions, yet the South still seceded because their Rights were being encroached. Every single secession letter said their reason was because of the encroachments.
