Hey iam 16weeks pregnant and have a severe pain in wisdom tooth can i go for surgery in this pregnancy i got my pregnancy after 6years of marriage alot of medicincation bcoz i have pcod problem can u suggest me can i go for surgery
I have a rather large abscess on tooth 7 and 8, I was hospitalized for IV antibiotics and now on oral antibiotics at home. These teeth have had root canals done and the oral surgeon I saw recommended pulling these teeth and getting implants. My husband and I were going to start trying for baby #2 next month. Should we put that on hold or is something like implants safe to have done while pregnant?
You can always get a second opinion for retreatments on those root canals. Getting pregnant might exaggerate tooth pain.. I would get ahead of the problem b4 getting pregnant. Because you may need painkillers n antibiotics.. implants take awhile to heal if you go that route. I'm not a dentist.
I took antibiotics due to my wisdom tooth getting infected more than a month ago and just yesterday the pain of my tooth came back i had an appointment last week were supposedly they were going to extract the tooth but when i got there i was told that they were going to remove 4 which i only expected to only get 1 removed the dentist told me that they didn't want to extract it because they didn't want to risk my baby or I. The pain is becoming bad and I'm afraid the infection might come back and they told me that even removing 1 might be risky i don't know what to do :'( btw I'm 5 months pregnant !
I’m having problem now with my wisdom tooth I wanted to get it pulled but my husband doesn’t want me to he said it is painful and worried about our baby what happened to you did you proceed with the surgery while pregnant how’s your baby?
@@yangyange6554 it sucks even more during pregnancy i just waited till i delivered my baby and just last year they took one out but it was hell and she's healthy Thank God! I recommed getting like a small cloth and putting hot water and pressing it in your cheek also to do salt gargles with warm water you might have infection babies take a lot of your vitamins 😓
la guera I’m afraid getting my surgery while pregnant too maybe I’ll wait till I delivered my baby anyway it doesn’t hurt a lot just a feeling of discomfort glad you’re able to endure the pain during your pregnancy thanks for the advise.
I want to have braces doc. but i need to get 3 teeth removed 🙁 Is it safe for me and the baby ? I am 5 months pregnant doc... Really need your advice . Thank you .
+Judith Torres Absolutely. There are no contraindications with orthodontics (braces) and pregnancy. However, it is very important to keep your teeth and gums healthy when you are expecting and having braces can make this slightly more difficult. But having a straight and healthy smile for a lifetime is definitely worth the extra effort.
