Helen you are so inspiring, I love journalling, I feel blessed to be able to have the time to sit down with my journals, my favourite writings are from The Bible. X.
Thank you. Your journals are beautiful! I keep what you call a "Daily Journal" that's really an extremely simple "bullet journal" / appointment / planning book. I lay it out similar to yours. I've tried habit trackers, etc, but I don't keep them up very long. I've been decorating the pages with washi tape, cutouts, cards I receive, fortune cookie fortunes, etc. I do my writing journaling on my laptop, often in response to something I read. I have a goal of printing it out and putting it in binders, but that's an unfinished project. I have an art journal that I work in sporadically. I admire people who journal on a regular basis, but I'm not very consistent. I have consistently journaled inconsistently my whole life, though. lol
It sounds like you are well away Martha. Having a set time to journal each day really helps me to keep consistent. I don’t know where I would be without my journals now 🥰
This was really useful Helen. I think I must lean towards a scrapbook type journal! I tend to journal about special days and to help me remember things that happen! I don’t know what this would be called “officially” but I’d love to hear your thoughts for a title! All your journals are wonderful to see and they inspire and encourage me to keep going! Take care x
what a very informative video of your process Helen. You writing is so inviting and beautiful to look at. So many lovely ideas and inspiration. Thank you so much 💜💜💜
Hello, Helen. I couldn't pick my favorite if I had to. They are all so lovely and I really like your style and color choices and just everything. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
Love this video Helen thank you for showing the different types of journals. I’m not sure I’m ready for the art journals yet lol but the daily journal sounds good. Will look to see if you have any videos on the daily journal on your page. Thanks again for making this video. ❤
How I wish my journaling was neat and impressive like everyone else's. I've been writing consistently for over 15 years but haven't made any progress. Why?
I can't say why, but I can offer some ideas to try. - Get into calligraphy or handwriting, practice and find a personal style you love. - Experiment with format and style. I personally draw inspiration from Pinterest and RU-vid - Take test pages on a book that isn't your journal until you find what you like. This only if you are so attached to your journal that you don't want to mess it up (like I am.) Keep at it and you will get what you're looking for. Good luck!
