@@kenrickmiu9849 Letting one player go and bringing the other one,he thought was better, but it turns out he wasn't...sound familiar huh? Etoo won the treble (knocking Barca out in the UCL) that season and was one of the most important players in Inter, whilst his replacement Zlatan who cost triple that of Etoo's price flopped in Barca and had a heated conflict with Pep
@@bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee lol alright then, this is no fifa, there are alot of factors that weights in on these kind of decision. You talk as if you know better than Pep, maybe you do, but I doubt it.
Soccer am should be on from 11 til 12 30, leading right up to the premier league 12 30 kick off match on sky sports Bit later, More people would watch it
BigDog Tabooya then why else would sky buy up premier league rights? Corporate social responsibility? Public service? There’s a reason why live games are on Sky & not the BBC.
1:38 clearly the logic behind his Foden decisions. Gotta love and respect this man, always doing the best for his players and creating such close-knit and driven locker rooms
It's not the worst mistake Barca has made. What about spending the money from Neymar on Dembele and Coutinho (and then Liverpool spending the money from Coutinho on van Dijk and Alisson)?
Barca fan here, watched every game then. Etoo and Zlatan are incomparable. I still don't know how they let Etoo and even gave money in the exchange. I think he realised that immediately in 2010. Zlatan is very good but Etoo was teamwise in and out of the field another thing.
Eto'o's goal in 09 killed Man Utd's momentum big time and probably won them the game. It was a half chance at best....what on Earth made him think that selling him was a good idea?
@@thrilla72 i don't know. Watch his interview in a French tv explaining how he wanted him out since day one and even gave his number to Henry. Then he gave him 20mins on us tour and he scored 3. It is insane.
Fun fact: The team Guardiola forgot at minute 1:11 (Wisła Kraków) won the second leg of that UCL qualifying tie 😁 That was the first of the two defeats in the victorious 2008/09 campaign for Barcelona.
Bernd Schuster was the idol... He is more german than the most germans...LOL... The way he talks (straight on point, withouth any hypocrisy of interest, when it does not exist). The way he thinking about football- OFFENSIVE and always initiative, always to have the controll of the game... Love it... I think, we should give him the german passport, obviously he deserve him more than the most "passport-germans", and after that we should make him the new Kanzler...
His first and biggest mistake was to sell Eto. Zlatan didn't fit the Barca system, and his attitude was a problem. However, Eto was outstanding. Purchasing Zlatan was a mistake.
He was great as a football player and he is great as a manager. Not many can say it. Brilliant, extraordinary. People still underestimate him or perhaps intimidated by him. He is a winner and I am very much inspired by him.
While I agree to a certain degree that pep is checkbook manager. But at City he actually spend for youngster. He still spend money but you can still see his ability in developing player even tho not from 0. He knows which players that he want and he can develop. For me it makes more sense to call zidane a checkbook manager instead of guardiola. He won 3 UCL with Ronaldo. This season he brought hazard, Luka jovic, Mendy etc. Madrid plan to get players like Mbappe, Neymar, kante, Pogba etc. Zidane doesn't look for a great prospect in football. He want the very top players for his team to win.
Of Course we all have our quirky white lies that we normally insert into our conversational sessions with people, when on the inside we knew that the stresses and demands of life don't matches with our ideals and our body suffers psychogically... But to promote vulnerability and quality conversations, it would be good to be genuine, authentic and truthful..
Of course the head coaches and the rest of the support staffs wants a piece of the salary that they get on per week basis....it's a hopeful dream for everyone involved
BigBoss7777777 not true. That Barcelona squad was trash before taking it. Immediately sold ronaldinho deco etc.. who were big names. Promoted a bunch of young academy players like Pedro. Brought Busquets from the third team to the first. Won the treble that year. People always talk down on success. Pep is a genius
