Can you do a diagram of your "drive" concept? You mentioned FS#1 does a shallow, FS #2 does more of a curl than a dig, and FS #3 goes to the flat. This sounds very similar to Coach Mark Richt's shallow cross (combines a curl/flat with a shallow cross).
