Major con of being a truck driver: alot of people don't respect you on the road. My dads been a truck driver for as long as I can remember and the amount of time people cut off truck drivers is insane! Why people think they can stop as easily as a car is beyond me. Alex, stay safe out there🙏🏼
Yes! I wish he would have talked about how people have no respect for truckers! My dad has been a truck driver since he was 16 and my husband is one now and the amount of times people cut him off or turn in-front of him is insane! But they are always quick to blame the trucker!

I used to watch his wife and him way back when and then they went MIA and I just recently saw him on RU-vid again. For a sec I thought they broke up and was a little sad. But it’s nice to know they’re still together! I believe they’re also from a town nearby where I’m from. Seeing him on here makes me happy!! My husband is a ups truck driver and a lot of things he said we can relate. I only see my husband 1.5 days the day he arrives he sleeps. He says he sees a lot of crazy things happen at night while driving. A lot of people dead in LA freeways a lot of homeless people trying to get hit by a car in the freeway and so much more. I have never heard of him but now I’m interested to check him out. He seems like a great guy and great husband and family guy

Another big con of being a trucker is how many restaurants/fast food places aren’t semi friendly!! It’s almost impossible for a trucker on the road to find somewhere to eat 😢

When he said he would like to go to New York, I got flashbacks of me and my bf trying to drive through NYC with a big trailer lol. New York state in general is beautiful though... Great podcast! My man is a truck driver as well & the longest he's been away was 3 almost 4mths. I hated that the fact that I wouldn't be able to see him or him see our daughter but at the same time I took advantage of him being gone because I felt like we see each other so much at home that we would argue over the dumbest things, etc. Him being gone for months made both him & I miss each other even more so idk, I felt like it was very much needed for our relationship. And facetime helps so much! But he sho' do know better TO NOT be messing around! 😂
