Cooking together and cooking for each other is such a wholesome part of a relationship and family life that is certainly I think so underrated. I wonder how many couples and families even now take out time to eat together.

Baskin-Robbins started in California. I am in my 60’s and that was the place where all the kids in high school wanted work. It only had 31 flavors of ice cream back then though. They are still running in the USA but I have never seen a fancy one in the states like the ones you go to in Seoul.
Awwww, Beemo is saying "Where's the Beef!?" Also, I think the weather can contribute to the gloomy feeling. It'a cold, but not freezing, like snowing. You just don't feel motivated, when there isn't much sunshine. and warm weather.

I live in Pennsylvania, and I've never seen a Baskin Robins 100 in PA. There's Baskin Robins stores in my town, but not 100. You could visit that every week during the year and try new flavors! Sign me up!🥰

I just had two scoops last week, AND I crushed some Girl Scout thin mint cookies into it. I’ve not heard of mint chocolate chip with brownies. Clearly, Seoul is the place to be for BR ice cream! Yeah! We’re still curious if they’re got the 100 flavor branches in other countries aside from Korea, but we couldn’t find any 😶 Omg, you MUST try to grill plain rice cakes when you have Korean bbq next time-it’s gonna change your life!!
We have regular baskin robbins (not 100) here in Toronto. I actually prefer laura secord ice cream, but there are hardly any locations left. Sarah and Kyuho if you ever come to Toronto RURU BAKED has the best ice cream in the city - 50 unique flavours including calamansi etc...
The amount of flavors and options at that Baskin & Robbins was overwhelming. That mushroom and salmon dish looked so tasty Kyuho. What did you do to the mushroom? I’ll have to try that biscuit/scone recipe. They looked delicious.
On youtube, i find very good Greece lemon potatoes recipes. There need olive oil, salt, paper, a bit of water, and lots of oregano. Lemon juice and zest. The first time I used a similar amount of lemon juice as in the video, but it was too sour for me, so now I put less and I love it. I can eat it alone just from a baking tray. I use a smaller baking tray, and all the potatoes a bit drown in that mixture. While it in the oven oregano smell is all over the home, smells so nice.
i haven't been to Baskin Robbins in decades. In fact, many of them have closed over the years. I tend to go to the more artisanal local creameries. definitely haven't seen a 100BR near here. [SF bay area, California]
2:56 you could snag fries from Shake Shack and ice cream upstairs... Salty and sweet combo. A shake for fry dipping would be fine by ice cream would elevate it☺️

I live near Chicago. Our BR’s here are in the same store as Dunkin Donuts and I’ve never seen a 100 flavors BR. Ours is 31 flavors and I do not know if it’s really 31. But they are all combined stores.
Back in Ireland after a month in Seoul, couldn't start the day without my Tom n Toms espresso and chocolate brownie. So much to do even tho the windchill was -6c in Feb....and as soon as we go the temp was 22c yesterday...😳😳 MAYBE a move is on the cards....🤞
As I commented on IG, the BR we have in my area of North Carolina, are small. Nothing like the BR at Gangdam Station. That one is definitely next level. Sheet pan dinners are something I do a lot. Anytime I can use less pans I’m there. Hubby and I have used Skillshare for several years. It is my go to for learning new mixed media techniques ( did I mention I’m a mixed media artist and card maker). Hubby likes it for all his woodworking classes. This year I am taking some of the photography classes in order to learn better ways of photographing my art projects. Baking is sometime I love to do, but don’t get to do often. Hubby is diabetic, so I have to be careful as baked goods usually have so many carbs. When I first started learning Korean dishes this grilled dish turned out to be our favorite. We like to grill pork belly or boneless country style pork ribs. I even have grown a perilla plant in my garden the last 2 years just to have perilla leaves for ssam and Gimbap. Beemo looked so cute trying to snitch the leftovers! Our cat Shadow is the only cat we have owned who will not touch human food. She prefers her own kibble and cat treats. The only exception is that she does like to lick the can of the water packed tuna I use. I learned about the significance of March 1st through #DailyK. Our Monday guest host is a college professor who teaches Korean history and current events. I am honored to share my birthdate with the beginning of South Korea’s march to freedom and democracy. I appreciate all that you two go through to bring us such wonderful content each week. It really gives us an intimate look at everyday city life in Korea. Keep up the great work.
I love those little kitchen thingies, gadgets, I don't know what they're called (would love to know English term for that thing you used to press butter into flour). They are so cute. I learned from you that much kitchen space is overrated, you do a lot there and it's so cute.

My guess on the BR thing is that since Seoul is such a big metro, you've got a bazillion people worth of foot traffic everyday, so they can afford to carry 100 flavors to satisfy everyone and empty that inventory fast enough to where they aren't having to throw inventory away that gets too old. Pretty cool you guys get so many choices :D. We have some friends than own a BR here, and along with the local one, still just the 31 flavors. Also just a normal suburban area, so foot traffic is probably 100x less. No Kbbq on the veranda? Guessing too cold this time of year still? Looked delis though!
Yeah, that could definitely be the case-we wonder if Japan have them too? 🤔🍨 We’ll likely be having more veranda BBQs when the weather warms up a little 😄
I know we have a few regular Baskin Robins over here but their Canadian website only has 30 ish flavors available. It's just as well, I suck at making decisions and I'd probably be standing in front of the 100 flavors for way too long choosing ahah.
We have approximately 9 Baskin-Robbins in the Austin area, but not 100 flavors. BR isn’t all that popular here. There’s a local ice cream chain called Amy’s Ice Creams that seems to be the go-to for everyone here. Supposedly, they have 350 flavors, but they must rotate them because I’ve only seen a limited amount on their menu when I’ve been there. Hot damn, that 100 flavors looks scrum-diddly, though. 🤤
Baskin Robbins has 100 flavours of ice cream in Korea, that's awesome. I very rarely go to Baskin Robbins here in Canada because it's expensive, but I think they have 30-something flavours, there's only 1 location in my city in Ontario.
am not fan of ice creams because I get very chill in my body when I eat anything with cold (ice or ice creams) even hot summer too, lol, never liked ice in my drinks ,lol, another great video to watch
We had a Baskin Robbins several years ago. They closed it for lack of business. There isn't one for miles now. I miss it! Now we have places like Culver's that have taken the population by storm.
This is the worst part of the year. Toronto just got another huge dumping of snow. But I bet in Seoul it will be warm in the blink of an eye! Hold tight :)
OMG, lots to comment about... 1. I want to try those blueberry lemon biscuits. They looked soooooo good. And now that I'm living in a new place where my housemates don't care if I cook, even better. My question is how long can they stay before they get stale or hard? And how many (I didn't count) did your recipe make? My housemates and I are all trying to lose weight and get healthier (I'm thinking about joining the gym again), so that's another concern... I've lost 10 lbs since moving in January...don't want to find them again. 2. Where I am (Long Island, NY), I don't think we have any Baskin Robbins 100 flavor stores. As far as I know, Baskin Robbins is now always in with Dunkin Donuts and they don't have 100 flavors.... just the original amount. Plus our stores are no where near that one as far as asthetics. OMG, yours is so beautiful! 3. I have toyed with the idea of joining skillshare but I don't think I could find the time to do any of the classes. I'm still trying hard to learn Korean and I'm always struggling to get my grammar homework done (it's all writing about this topic or that topic and in the process learning more vocabulary, grammar and natural phrases). One day I hope to join skillshare. I've never been disappointed in any of your recommended companies... I have several pair of Vessi shoes, I have Function of Beauty shampoo/conditioner, I have Ana Luisa jewelry and yoru skin care box... oh yes, and SurfShark.
The number of biscuits totally depends on the size and what type of cutter you use :) I usually keep 3 or so out at a time (they get too dry after two days) and freeze the others in a ziplock baggy. spore's baskin robbins is a disappointing little kiosk shop with only like 20 or so flavours. It is not as happening and interesting as the one that you went to. Which explains why I never had a baskin robbins in singapore. I love your blueberry muffins. They look so good and I am excited to try making it myself ! Thanks for sharing !

You did mention Gangnam Station & said that there are numerous Baskin Robbins throughout Seoul.; however, I prefer to go to the one you went to. Would you mind giving me the address as I'm not sure if it's the one at Dosan-daero or the one by Sinnohyeon Station (Exit #4). I'm confused. 🤔
That particular Baskin-Robbins is probably the only one that has 100 flavors. The ones in the US are 31 flavors. The one closest to me is combined with Dunkin Donuts.
in USA where I live the suju is very expensive (price I think 7.99 or more though some wine store do carries suju but less price 6.99 depend on the flavors) all my suju has a flavors in it , lol,
Fun fact soju is the number 1 selling spirit in the world. Sadly it dawned on me it might not be due to global popularity, but the extreme drinking culture in Korea :/.
