Josh if you ever want to play against Arakni I got you. Also Dromai is an auto loss but Guardian has changed slightly I feel with Coercive. Still not a fun matchup. Arakni has felt good into Brute though minus Rhinar. Loved the video guys yall have been killing it!
Look, lets talk Vynnset for a second. The Guardian matchup is bad. You could build her to make it better, but even then its not good. That being said, if you want a deck that bullies Dromai, and I mean bullies, aggro vynnset is your girl. She cant deal with the arcane, medium popper density, big attacks and all the Mauvrions. The Kayo MU is actually fine, with a dreact package in the SB you just outvalue him and the AB 2 or 3 and SV2 makes the Kano matchup very winnable. Said my piece, hit me up if you want an aggro 60 that bodies Dromai and has SB space for a dreact midrange plan.
Vynn is very solid right now outside of the Guardian matchups, which suck with very little recourse. But genuinely everything other than Bravo/Victor feels absolutely fine. Kayo's often present 0 ab & when they do its a 60-70% matchup, & it's still even-slightly favoured with ab1. Dromai isn't quite as free as you make it out to be, but I would not call it a bad matchup, just maybe slightly unfavored. & Vyn eats ninjas for breakfast, so if Katsu is on the rise Vyn & Guardian is trending down, Vynnset is quite happy with that
@@davyfromthenavy4248 full aggro Attack Action dromai is around 50% to maybe unfavourable, but if it's dragon heavy, Aggro Vynnset is at least 70% favored for me. 17 poppers, 9 mauvs and all the runechsnt generation just means she does no damage and takes plenty back every turn. But, its just my word on it. The damn guardian MU is cursed though, same for high blue count Warrior's.
@Valkyriez_Gaming That's fair, I play against a lot of Empress decks, so my perspective is a little skewed towards that version of Dromai. As for Warrior, Dori is the only one I've had any real trouble with. Kassai blocks well but they don't really have any disruption & their damage output isn't that great, so I just set up big 2-3 gate turns & that usually works well. Boltyn does a lot of scary things, but he can't block us as well & we can mess with his turns by forcing banishes from his hand or arsenal. Dori is definitely a tough matchup though, especially if she plays very defensively.
However, the main thing with Vynnset is that she requires a specialist. You can't just give someone a 60 that "bodies Dromai" & expect them to actually beat Dromai. She's a very hard deck to play at a high level, and requires a great deal of deck knowledge, both yours & your opponents. For example, with my current list there are several matchups where I'm playing almost the exact same 60, but the nuances of how I play the matchup & what specific cards are there for are very very different. Vynnset can & probably will do well if a specialist dedicates to her, but I don't think just anybody can pick up the deck & expect to make it work
Played Kayo in my last 2 events and in every second game was a warrior (almost all played Kassai) so it was def. pain to play. I think it would have been a lot easier with my other decks. predicted it wrong. I also realised that defensive Dash with turn 0 double chamber is kind of annoying too (going first)! 😀 Def. will switch to my Dromai or Victor for the next run and keep it with Kayo in my Armories. I also think that some of those games (even if it sounds stupid - maybe) would have been a mile better with my Rhinar! 😀
Some of your Dromai data is a little out of date (We've had few if any Double Tome Decks placing this season. Most of the Dromai lists have been either on full Redline, or very close to it). But other than that I think I agree with most everything on this chart. It's a good time to be a Dromai main. 🐉
